Note 10 and Note 10+ hybrid sim at a new low as far as I can tell.

iPhone user going back to Android here. $1,900 for the new iPhone with 64GB storage in 2019 was motivation to head back! First Note for me!

    After being disappointed by the price and specs of the iPhone 11 launch, couldn't get past this deal.
    Went in to play with the Note 10 plus and it is fabulous.
    The thinness makes handling much easier than your might think, and the screen is significantly bigger than just about all other phones. Superb screen.
    Surprisingly didn't feel heavy in the hand.
    This is an amazing deal when comparing to the equivalent iPhone 11 pro max.

    Went all in for Black Note 10 Plus (after buying the A20 lol from Auspost). After using the iPhone 6 Plus 64GB

    This video made a solid case (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAp8NVlA5Lc)for the Samsung (although to its credit, the iphone xs is about a year old).

    As much as I hate being subscribed to Google's garden, Apple is no better at exploiting the customer with their slow upgrades (hardware features) and ridiculous pricing.

    Samsung has a 14 day (unopened box) change of mind policy. So unless Huawei's Mate 30 Pro (and its anti-google too!) destroys the Note 10 Plus in terms of camera features, Ill stick with SS.

    Can't decide on the colour!!!!

    The Aura glow didn't look good under the intense lights at the Samsung store (too many reflections and very distracting fr the look of the phone), but I think would like more muted and 'classier' under normal light when I expect it will have more a shimmering look.
    And I really like the blue S pen that comes w this colour.

    So this or the black colour which comes with a boring all black stylus ???

      Yes, you can enter whatever details you like when purchasing (this was through the Aus Government portal but assume EDU is the same interface).

        Does the invoice say it was bought with special pricing? I want to salary sacrifice this when going through a friend, but worries it won't be accepted through work if it says 'edu discount'.

          Nope. The invoice just notes the product and the price (the $1,189 for the Note10+). No reason at all as to why it is that price.

          Then underneath it, it has Payment details (i.e. my credit card details with the number blanked out), the Billing Address (which I specified entirely and was not linked to my wife's details who I created the account through) and the Shipping Address, again which I specified. It even lets you specify the name of a company completely unrelated to the "Australian Government" portal, which is reflected on the invoice.

          Hope this makes sense.

    Just bought one of these. I still can't believe the price. Do other companies such as LG or Sony offer deals to government employees? I purchased it about 2.15pm. I hope that it gets shipped out. It will kill me having to wait till Monday!

      For your sake, I hope this is just me, but I ordered yesterday at approximately 10:50am, and my progress remains "preparing dispatch," with no tracking assigned despite being >24hrs. I too, am hoping for a Friday delivery but I'm not sure at this point! (I live in Melbourne.)

    Wish I wasn't locked into my Telstra contract from last year with the Pixel 2 XL port in deal that was around in March for $59 a month.
    Have the biggest itch to get a new phone at the moment. Now I remember why all my previous phones were outright purchases, 18 months into the 24 months and I'm starting to crack.

    I ordered on Thursday just after 2pm. I just checked my status & it has changed to Dispatched/On the way. I kept checking the status & I would guess that it changed about 11am. I am in Adelaide so I would be surprised if it turned up today as I would imagine it has just left Sydney. Can anyone tell me if they have received their phone interstate after a midday shipping notification? What shipping company is being used? I don't really want to have to wait till Monday for the phone so I am wondering if it may be delivered on a Saturday or if I can pick it up from the couriers warehouse.

      Ordered yesterday at 1pm, status on Samsung site changed to 'on the way' around 3-4pm, received dispatch email from Samsung around 8pm and delivery to Adelaide was this morning (well, attempted delivery but courier must have just left the attempted delivery card as someone was home all morning). Has been sent to post office for collection.

      Startrack express were the courier used.

        But basically I went in store said to the guy I'm interested in the note 10+ but do you price match?

        He said yeah who do you want to match with?

        I just said Samsung online he said sure. At this point he hasn't checked anything as I'm deciding on color, picked black because aura glow didn't look great but now I'm wondering if display model is different to actual model.

        Anyway he says meet me at the counter while he goes out back to look for it. Go to counter I ask him "so what do you need to see for the price match" end up just showing him the site I was logged into (I have an edu acc) he was kinda surprised at the price but nothing further then that just did it.

      If you're referring to the aurora colour then it is currently sold out on all of the Note 10s.
      If you're referring to the 30% discount then it only applies to the Note 10 range. I had a quick look and it there wasn't a sale on the Galaxy S10s or A series. The mobile accessories do seem to be on sale though.

        Just showed them the samsung edu price on my phone. I didn't mention it was an edu special price though. I just said this is on the samsung site. I guess I was lucky he just trusted my word and what he saw on my phone and didn't go and check samsung.com on his own pc.

    I was able to get JB Hifi to pricematch on the black note 10 plus. They didn't hesitate even though they knew it was the government portal.
