Note 10 and Note 10+ hybrid sim at a new low as far as I can tell.

iPhone user going back to Android here. $1,900 for the new iPhone with 64GB storage in 2019 was motivation to head back! First Note for me!

          I did this….for the larger screen and improved battery life. The S10+ battery life was already great and worlds better than an iPhone, but the Note 10+ is at another level!

          I use Note 9 and I cant go back to any phone without bluetooth S pen anymore. It's just there when you need it.

      I went S10+, despite prefering the screen of the Note series.

      I held my mates Note 10+ and find it quite uncomfortable without a case.

      Also, can't say bye to the headphone jack, just yet.

    Sorry if a silly question, just comparing spec sheets for the S10+ and the Note 10. In regards to each of their charging capabilities, Note 10 has 45W listed S10+ 15W. Are these numbers an indication of their maximum charging capability or simply just referring to the charger included out of the box. Basically I am asking can I use 45W charger on the S10+ or will it still only charge at the 15W rate. Thanks!

      I think it's maximum 15w regardless of charger.

      Those are the max charging rates of the phones. The Note10 has a max charging rate of 45W, while the included charger is 25W. Compared to my 15W charger with the Note8, the 25W charging is a huge speed improvement with my Note10+.

      45W will be super fast, but it will generate a lot more heat which is not good for the longevity of the battery.

      But if you're replacing them every 2 years, that won't matter.

          I'm right there with you. Went from the note 4 to the LG V30+, which has been okay… I'd stick it out for another year, but I done broke the screen.
          Seeing Note 9's for sale for $900ish money makes me think there's not going to be much drop over the next 12 months (from this price anyway). Think I'll pull the trigger.

    I wouldn’t buy any new phone with Apple slashing the IPhone 11 price all phones are going to come down fast to compete .

    Means sell if you can before your phone depreciates like all the iPhones just did .

          Yes. I purchased one for $1,200 last week on Gumtree from someone working at Optus, and the invoice shows it costed him $849.50 :-/

          I can confirm that, a mate of mine who works at Optus got me one for $849.50, nice enough to give it to me at that price. Picking it up tomorrow.

          Now I just need to find an adapter which let's me charge while using wired headphones (3.5mm would be best). If anyone has tried it I'd appreciate a heads up.

      depend on your preference, if you into photo then maybe Pixel 4 is better, and it will likely to has a 90hz refresh display base on recent leak, but the note 10 design is the best on the market

          I think frontal design for sure, the small dot for camera is a lot nicer to look at than anything else out there IMO.

      I have confirmed with Samsumg Customer Care on their website and the same is not mentioned on product pages or outer packaging of the product.

      I feel samsung are deceptive about it.

    What are is happening with the other android phones though?

    We know iPhone is pretty much dead now for at least a year till
    they find innovation again. I have found my iPhone XS Max to be
    very unstable after the last three updates.

    I want to wait and see what HUAWEI have in plan for the Mate 30
    and how they intend on working around the USA bans.

      iPhone ain't dead mate. It's still the top selling phone by a wide margin.

      Other manufacturers like Samsung and Huawei sell more phones than Apple, but that's when you combine all of their different ranges together including all the budget models popular in India and China. No single model comes close to an iPhone's sales and never will.

    Said it wouldn't take more than a month.

    If you preordered at full price and got your AKG headphones, you could do a price protection claim and buy for 30% off. If you preordered via EPP or Edu store, you would have got 20% off but no AKG.

    Would have done it myself if I weren't on an S10+ already.

      Makes sense if you were Samsung all the way. In my case, I wanted to see what the 11pro max brought and then make a decision. Sad times all round. Been on the 6splus for almost 4 years now.. think it's time for an upgrade.

        For me, if I was staying with Apple, the 8 would be the only phone left for me to buy. When they dropped the home button on the notched phones, they replaced it with a series of gestures which I find is more complicated and slower to use than the button. It also requires some precision, which my elderly computer illiterate mother will not be able to master. So I wouldn't even be able to hand it down to her after I'm done with it like I do all my gadgets.
