    Agreed, definitely not a reference disc as the digital intermidiate for Infinity War was in 2K resolution, so this is not real 4k.

        It was shot in 6.5K but had a 2K DI, so essentially it was shrunk down to from 6.5K to 2K before being bumped up to 4K again for the disc.

        "some sources" sounds a lot like reasonable doubt on whether it's an upscale, so best to err on the side of caution. Calling something a reference source should exclusively be left to sources that can be fully confirmed as full resolution/quality from start to finish and haven't been upscaled (ie. 4K or higher camera and process all the way to disc mastering)
