You dont even have to do that (depends on the store). I can get the deals via drive through by mentioning the vouchers.

    • B&W is fine, either hard copy or phone.

It officially available from the HJ Site, where it states:

For a limited time, you can still download our old-school vouchers to cut out and redeem on great-value deals in any of our restaurants.

  • For those in the West (MEL)
Hungry Jack's Footscray no longer accept these vouchers, only the ones on the app.

    • If it's a franchise, then the voucher offer would only apply to "participating stores" only.

    fuarkkkkkk the increidlbe bulk

  • Did they revert back to the old vouchers? No more phone only?

  • The cashier refused me my vouncher … (Brisbane city and fortitude valley)

  • Yes, a few restaurants refused them. Needs a voucher number the process the order.

  • So HJ released vouchers but stores are refusing to honour them?

  • Anyone had luck using these in WA Perth? Gonna possibly give them a try tomorrow.

    • Yes. Used at Rockingham. They even let me switch the whopper meals to vegan cheeseburger meals.

      • Which whopper meals? Is it cheaper than $9.995 for 2 vegan burgers?

        • The voucher for two small whopper meals for $12.95 (switched it out for two vegan cheeseburger meals). Two vegan cheeseburgers (not meals) are $9.95.

      • Cool, thanks mate.

  • Same issue in Dandenong, Stud Rd. Only accepts vouchers via the app.

  • I love the Minchinbury, NSW store. I redeemed 2 vouchers (2 dining) but could have used 4, got 2 Shake & Win offers redeemed (free coffee & $1 BBQ Cheeseburger), and I would have had a $2 Large Sundae (from the app) if the ice cream machine was working. AND she gave me a hard copy of the vouchers to take with me without tearing off any of the voucher redemptions.

They make great onion rings, too. Crunchy and never greasy. My favourites so far, especially when half-price.

  • Phone isn't fine anymore at my local hj even with the official vouchers downloaded from the website. They wanted me to print the voucher and collect it.

Vouchers were declined at North Ringwood store (near Ringwood Lake, Vic.) on Saturday evening 21-Sep-2019

Counter person had rung up transaction upon presentation of voucher PDF on my mobile phone, when another staff member came up to say they were no longer accepting "paper vouchers" because they were expired

She maintained this stance even after I pointed out their expiry date was November 2019

We left store without making a purchase

Will never use an App - don't wish to be stalked by computers

If you use a second phone, you can use it strictly for apps and data. There's no need to even make calls or exchange SMS messages on it. No contact lists or personal details have to be on there at all. You could even use fake details when signing up for offers since you're not intending to defraud anyone.

If you have others in the house who share your feelings, you can use the one phone for multiple accounts. Both my husband and I share the app phone because we can login individually to each app.

I had no interest in using Instagram and only put it on for the Oporto burger offer; it's now removed. We don't even have Facebook or Twitter on the phone. You can control the info that is shared.

  • so looks like we have the new voucher but stores aren't accepting it? kinda pointless.

  • So if I can't use a screenshot or they don't accept printed vouchers how can I use the vouchers if they don't appear in the crappy app?

    • +1

You'll have to find an HJ that accepts vouchers or contact their head office to tell them about the store not accepting the vouchers. It all depends on the staff working the shift.

    use a second phone

    Thanks for suggestion

I installed HJs app on an old phone, then found its prerequisite is using Facebook

Will never divulge details to a sleazy outfit like Facebook - so, no HJs vouchers = No Sale

FWIW I sent feedback via hungryjacks.com.au - a couple of quotes from their "District Manager" respondent, as follows:

"feedback from your visit has been provided to the management team at North Ringwood, based on the date and time of your visit, we have utilised this feedback as a training opportunity for the staff on shift"

"acceptable @ this stage to show vouchers on the phone, however digital vouchers are different and can only be used through the App"

can you substitute rebel whoppers in these deals?

    • I'd like to know as well, anyone tried?

    • I was literally about to ask this question. Has anyone tried?

    • +1

Attempted at Hungry Jacks outside Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Accepted vouchers on phone, rejected rebel whoppers substitution

      • Thanks for the update.

        • No probs… did manage to subsitute rebel whopper for normal whopper on the $4 whopper prize from shake and win. Defo worth a try :D

  • Tried at Oxford st Sydney, refused to honour vouchers.

  • Melbourne HJ kingsway is good. Just showed PDF on phone and they honoured. Cashier was 7/10 trainee
