  • can you install a graphic card and additional HDD on these please?

    • I wouldn't get this if you want to throw a GPU in there. At least on my G1, the included SFX PSU is only 240w, not enough to drive much of anything. You would need to source a low profile graphics card and possibly look at sourcing a replacement higher wattage SFX PSU.

Throwing another hard drive is easy enough though. My G1 only has 2 SATA cables but with a splitter it works OK.

An Nnvidia 1030 uses almost no power at idle and maybe 10-30 in heavy use. Can do 4K at 60hz. You can buy silent ones without a fan.

        • Don't fall for that. That is a pretty bad joke.

    • Graphics card
HDD/SSD — but he didn't show you the custom screws or the rails required to secure the drives. These screws and rails are harder to find than the PC.

      • Tape? Just tape them inside as soon the hard drive is not shaking is all good.

Sure, if you won't be moving the PC and don't want to/don't need to/can't properly secure the drives. In fact you don't have to use tape at all. HDDs can sit loose in the case and the SSD can hang on by the SATA data & power cables.

  • Is it noisy?

Bought one of these today. Might be good if you don't need as much performance. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Optiplex-9020-SFF-Desktop-I…?

I have a spare SSD, ram and i5 to go into it though.

    • I bought an optiplex 990 i5-2400 for 159 on Amazon lol …aaaaa
