  • I have the stainless steel one and love it. What's the difference between the aluminium and stainless steel versions?

    • +1

Major difference is the stainless steel version will work on an induction stove, where as the aluminium version won't.

    • Coffee is slightly acidic and Being brewed in pressure in aluminium is not good ( due to Alzheimer's probability as below )

  • +1

You won't get alzheimers from the stainless steel version :)

In all seriousness, probably not a whole lot of difference. Steel is more durable and should last longer, some will say aluminium is better as heats quicker.

    • howaboutism 101:
Cans, tins, Nespresso pods are made of aluminium.
Espresso machines have plastic pipework within. Is that plastic BPA free? And BPB? And C? And Z?

    • that s an urban myth - no conclusive evidence to support link between them

  • Got mine yesterday, haven't used it yet but I'll be able to compare it to many different coffee makers I have: aeropress, french press, pour over, dolce gusto pods, nespresso pods, and a cheapo espresso maker.

Obviously these aren't technically directly comparable, other than for personal preference I suppose.
