I don't think this is bargain. This is normal price only

    • +1

Yes and showing all out of stock

      • +10

Not everyone is a uni blugger and gets the discount.

If you are sick of the posts and unappreciative of others trying to help, then why are you still here?

      • +17

We can't all post classics like this.

        • +1

          Lol

        • +1

ROFL! And yet he has the temerity to criticise.

Oh well, at least he'll be busy a climate change strike for the rest of the day…

      • +1

Spoken (barely!) like an entitled pedant.

Might be time to take your business elsewhere…

This post reminded me to upvote. Cheers.

must collect magical instruments across the land and awaken the Wind Fish

Oh Nintendo. Never stop being you.

incredible remaster mine arrived yesterday. it's beautiful

    • +3

Same, arrived after lunch and sold it on marketplace for a markup that afternoon. Collecting a new copy today.

      • thats true ozbargain style especially given EBGames in most cities opened at 10pm to sell it early.

  • Is this open world like Breath of the wind? The video on youtube is like platformer, going from A to B etc…

    • You mean breath of the wild?

No its not like that, its a dungeon style game.
Its a HD remake of the old DS game

      • +1

        *Gameboy game

        • +1

          Correction noted :P

        • +1

God I hope they don’t think it was actually a DS remake.

Links Awakening was game changing. It was an unofficial Zelda game made by a few Nintendo employees that were experimenting with a gameboy dev kit after work hours. Eiji Aonuma has even stated that if they never made this game then Zelda’s Ocarina of Time and all future titles would have very likely turned out a lot different.

      • Haha, thanks, breath of the wild.

Amazon has had it at this price all week (and you get about $2 off with Cashbacks)

    • I ordered mine through Amazon (with Cashback) and its being delivered today!

      • +1

Order it online and wait at least 4 days for it to arrive, or walk into any JB HiFi, Big W, Target today and grab it for an extra $1 (or Harvey Norman for $68).

        • If you pre-ordered, it would have arrived on release day (depending on AusPost).

          • @RichardL: I realise that, but it released today. Not sure why you'd jump onto Amazon on release day and order it when it won't arrive until Tuesday at the earliest.

            • @aja12: True, only for those who are lazy to leave the house and in no rush to play the game.

The music was pretty amazing on the gameboy version. Did they mess with it?

    • I don't recall the Gameboy being capable of amazing music. Catchy sure.

Nintendo usually keep the tune but remaster it, so this time it may be amazing..

For this game I more recall constantly cutting the huge grass pile North of the start village into the shape of a rocket.

yeh, amazing music from a midi quality and mono speaker, you must be on some kind of drugs back then :)

      • +2

Yeah, I must have tripped that the gameboy had a stereo 3.5mm jack and stereo audio hardware. Seemed so real.

Wonderboy 3 had amazing music on a genuine mono MS2 if you want to get your facts straight. Gameboy Chiptune would hardly be popular if everyone agreed with you.

I don't recall the Gameboy being capable of amazing music. Catchy sure.

      Interesting.

yeh, amazing music from a midi quality and mono speaker, you must be on some kind of drugs back then :)

      Is that so?

As we can clearly hear, 8-bit is still a musical marvel. And if anyone here doubts that maybe they should go home, and be a family man.

    Not a bargain.

  • I just picked it up from big w at $69.

This is not really a deal.

  • +2

Thank you. Picked a copy up this morning for the wife. Yes, Amazon with cashback is cheaper but no need to wait for delivery.

    • -4

If you planned ahead you would have it your letterbox today (like I did) and would already be playing the game (like I am)

      • +7

If I planned ahead I would definitely be driving a much better car, better job and many other things that are much more important. I think I can live with messing this up and not planning properly. Thanks :-).

        • +1

          Good Point :P

      • -1

No, you're not. You're busy trawling the internet gloating over getting a non-limited game on launch day.

        • Can you pass the salt man.. i am running a bit low and it seems you have plenty

          • @jimbobaus: Yep. Open wide and you can have buckets of my saline solution (complimentary asparagus bouquet). My aim is a bit iffy so hold still.

  • This game is not worth $80.
Preordered at EB, they refused to match Harvey Norman's sale price of $68
    Cancelled pre-order

    • EB is a collectors yeah? Comes in a special box with a key ring or smtg?
They do those packs so they don’t have to price match anyone.

      • +1

Book, magnet and steel case. Europe get the key ring only I think, or was that US?

      • +1

The collectors edition is $109.95, just the base game is a whopping $79.95 but should be price-matchable.

      • They have two editions.

My EB always price matches too in the case they have 'preorder' bonuses included as long as the game edition is the same as elsewhere.

  • Anyone know Costcos price?

  • Nintendo tax is real….

  • Is there a booklet in the case or it just come with game? Thanks

    • +1

Nothing in box but the game. Nintendo dont bother with booklets anymore, which is a shame because I enjoyed reading them.

      • Thanks for reply

  • +2

Amazon did a price drop to $67 and processed a $1 refund today :P
so with Cash Rewards was about $64 overall
