Plus shipping makes this pretty useless.

    • +4

The RRP from Coles would be $22 if buying 5 packs too.. won't have to eat them in a month before expiry either.

May be a best before but I find these taste crap after the bb date

  • +2

Bought something like this a long time ago - couldn't finish it even after 2 years!

    $26/cartoon of 40 packs. Now only $14/cartoon

    Per show?

Also please mention in the description that these are short dated with an expiry of 28/10/19.

    • Thanks for pointing out! Have a great weekend.

Wow.. Really.. you forgot that.. Shameless….

  • These are the best instant noodles taste wise, probably the least healthy thing ever though.

Can still get around $10-12 a box in Asian groceries

    $3 for 10 at spudshed

    • Vic needs a spudshed

    Not cheap

  • How do they make these so cheap? 30-35c a pack?

    • +1

Mass production bulk batch making.. the ingredients are super cheap we are actually paying a huge premium if you look at the portion size we are given and paying for compared to the cost.

  • thanks! 1 package a day… my body will never decay

  • +4

This is a normal price at your local Asian grocery store.

    • Also with longer expiry date. No way this can be finished within a month.

      • say what

  • +9

40 packs from Woolies standard non-sale price totals $22, plus you can mix and match flavours and buy smaller quantities with longer expiration dates. This deal is 40 packs for $14 + $15 shipping, that's $7 more than Woolies and comes with all those additional inconveniences not to mention the requirement of being home for delivery or a trip to AusPost etc.

If you are doing an Apple's to Apple's comparison include delivery for both or just look at pick up only comparison.

For example this deal is $14 + $15 delivery whereas coles is $22 + $8 delivery (unless you spend over $100 in one order this month September 2019) and you need $50 minimum now Woolworths is $22 + $0 to $15 delivery (depending on how much you spend if over $300 it is free but if between $0 and $99.99 it is $15) and you need to spend $50 minimum for any online delivery like Coles so if looking from a delivery standpoint Coles is the cheapest then this deal then Woolworths unless you have a Woolworths delivery saver then Woolworths might be cheapest depending on your usage and spending habits.

This deal is good because there is no minimum spend but ultimately Coles is usually better because cheaper overall delivery if you pick the cheapest option which is now $8 (increased from $4 a few months ago in this year used to be the best deal ever forknow delivery hands down but yeah must have been unsustainable) unless you do an over $300 Woolworths shop then it is free.

Gotta do a proper side by side comparison otherwise you just confuse everyone with wrong information.

Appreciate the effort though I know you are trying to help.

So this is can be a good deal if you just want a cartoon of mi goreng and don't need anything else from Coles or Woolworths.

Nobody is confused. Most people regularly do groceries. You're the only one attempting to confuse everyone with wrong information here. My comparison was relevant, fair, and has far less holes than yours. Also, why are you shilling on a week old dead post? Nobody is even going to read your probable sockpuppeting but me. You're undeniably wrong here, so please keep your passive-aggressive insulting nonsense to yourself.

I know you're not trying to help and I don't appreciate the lack of effort.

Nope wow you totally ignored my comment and took that wrong glad to know you don't like being corrected or the right information.

You probably didn't even read my comment and yes people do look back at old posts for historical archival sake.

You must be new to ozbargain or just really don't like be wrong.

Welcome to the internet people will reply when your comments are confusing otherwise they will just ignore it.

Read my comment again when your less up your own ass you will find it is informative and right because I am usually on top of these things before I start typing it and I am not conceited enough to admit when I am wrong unlike you are obviously.

It is ok to be wrong this is the internet we are not always right but remember when you post stupid wrong information it affects us all so others will have to moderate it otherwise you just confuse everybody which you did.

Nice angry text formatting though really shows that you got tilted hardcore.

          Please don't rubbish our ozbargain.

Please check your facts and make it unambiguous before you comment it because you are wasting all our time.

          Thanks,

          The rest of ozbargain.

Read your own comment again you are comparing pick up Woolworths price to delivery Yin Yam price.. You are saying there are inconveniences but both require you to be home to accept delivery if you cannot see that your comment was wrong although in good intentions then sorry this conversation is over I cannot help you have a good Sunday.

My comment is there for others looking at this deal which is not expired yet and may be repeated so that your wrong comment does not mislead anybody else.

  • I could've sworn they were just 50 cents a pack recently.
Also at the Asian grocer prices aren't prices similar minus the shipping cost?

  • $7.50 shipping cost kills the deal

  • Parallel import not export quality.

  • This usually goes for $12.50 to $14 for a box of 40 anyway. Most asian groceries sell for that much. My local one is $13.50. I buy from Footscray for $12.50 normal price.

Most indonesian prefer the local quality.
