  Tip General promotions (eg new store, 40% off sale etc) tend to be very chancey on OzBargain. Listing one or a few items that you think are being sold at a better price than your competition, usually help. But make sure it is a better price than your competition, 'cos many people will do their own research as well.

  Reps shouldn't argue with shoppers; they are potential customers. If you think they have rated you unfairly, use the REPORT button. That's the fastest way to call on the mods for help.

    Many people dont like a deal, and want others to know about some issues they have with the deal, as evidenced by the comments made about a deal when they negatively vote. The IRONY for you to consider is that if a deal gets a number of negative votes, it is removed from most visitors screens. So your considered comments go as well.

    Negative votes are also appropriate when there maybe something wrong with the product. Eg an automobile accessory that may be cute, but might be against ADR's (Australian Design Rules). Or an telephone product that hasn't passed local approvals. Safety issues

  imho it is spam since is essentially the same deal you posted previously

  and yes I understand that it was a while back and you are offering 30% off

  but that deal went poorly didn't it - so no need to repeat it as far as I am concerned

  So this current deal, posted without consideration for prior feedback, lacking any real detail and in a similar format = SPAM
