Seems neat, until I visited the website.

    Poly Urethane or leather.
    Choose one. Can't be both

Yeah I'm so sick of this. Makes searching for non-leather items much more difficult.

I thought the same, but then..

PU leather is an artificial leather material made with split leather (that's the fibrous part of the hide left over from making genuine leather) which has been coated with polyurethane (hence the name “PU”), and then applied to the surface of the furniture

        That's "real" PU leather Lol.
I think most of the Chinese made stuff is just Poly Urethane (no animal bits) and they pretty much call any vinyl or man made faux-leather 'PU leather'.
Perhaps the OP can tell us?
Hey OP, any animal bits in you "PU leather"?

I once went to buy a tablet cover, saw a PU leather one I liked, asked the guy behind the counter about it and he said "Yes it has leather and PU." Then I told him I wasn't interested because it had animal skin, next thing he says "No, this is PU, it has no animal leather." Blah blah blah. They'll tell you whatever they can to sell it. For most cases I expect they will "upsell" it as partly animal derived to appeal to most people's fetish with this stone age material; I like it when they do that and I then tell them no sale - I want plastic - and their face expresses quizzical wonder about what went wrong.

  • I got the same thing off eBay for $15.

It’s good for work stuff. I imagine it’d be terrible for gaming as the mouse sometimes sticks to the surface.

    Hope this helps.

  • Got one of these cheap ones a while back because it looked nice.
Feels nice too, but the material started to peel a few weeks in where my mouse hand wrist rest.
Might be different here, it's not the exact same item, but I wouldn't reccomend pu leather for anything that has constant friction.

  • Off topic but any chance to have some of your mech keyboards to go on sale?
