I have a pair and it seems to work well. I initially had some issues with it staying connected to, and charging via a PC but I did a firmware update on it and changed it to a proper 'charging' port on the PC and it's been absolutely rock solid since.
Gen 2 airpods with wired charging case that I've had since June.
Yep these are gen two, I will suggest a fw update though as he wouldn't likely do that.
Has anyone else heard of issues with these not charging the buds? A guy who works with me is returning his second set tonight, same problem with both sets. One of the buds stop charging after a few weeks. Not sure if he's just rough with them, I was considering buying a pair.
