    'JACKED15'

    • +1

report to ACCC, complaining here won't do "jack" shit.

      • Lol nah i don't use ebay - just here for the <3

    No Onlineautoparts again :(

  • Any iPhone 11 deal?

Let us know when you find one :)

        • 11+ only for the pros

  • +2

I can envision they're working hard jacking up prices right now

EDIT: actually smarthomestoreau already jacked up the price for CyberPower 8 Way Outlet Surge Protector from $20 to $25.

  • Code doesn’t work.. jokes. I’ll go now.

  • +3

Ebay should change its name to Lance Armstrong. 100% jacked and 100% in denial.

    • +3

why no one report this to ACCC?

if a store did this, it would be illegal.

ie Advertise 15% to 20% then jack up the prices prior to the start or on the day of the discount

Yet ebay has been getting away with this for so long.

      • Have you? You also up voted… So…

        • -3

upvote is a quick way to keep track of posts
since it is easier to upvote (no need to comment) instead of negging which require commenting and giving reason

don't necessarily always mean we think a deal is great

if negging was allowed without needing to comment
then I am sure more would do it..
but it just takes more effort to neg a deal than to upvote a deal on ozbargain.

upvote or negging won't mean shit to whether ebay continues with this shit scam or not….

          • +2

@pinkybrain: You realise up voting a deal you don't like is stupid, right? There are other ways…

            Why not report it yourself?

            • -2

@scuderiarmani: really like what way that is easier than this?
this is the easier way to track posts

I was asking if others had reported it..
and as I said negging or upvoting won't mean shit in regards to whether ebay continues this shit or not..

stop trying to make yourself appear smart

              • +2

@pinkybrain: Why don't you read below for ideas. You are complaining about the price jacking yet encouraging it. Gimme a break.

                • -4

@scuderiarmani: why don't you read the entire thread

there is many people feel the same
                  and I am not complaining

just asking if anyone has reported to the ACCC

                  not encouraging anything..
                  maybe you can't read properly
but upvoting or negging won't do jack shit in regards to encouraging ebay to do these deals or not.

also commenting as your suggestion still takes more effort

Now stop acting like a tool.
and stop replying to me cos I have no interest in talking to you no more.

          • @pinkybrain: The 'bookmark' link will allow you to keep track of deals. It is under deal descriptions, near the report link. You could create different folders depending on how you want to file them.

Voting is meant to be used to indicate your opinion on the quality of the deal. Thanks.

You are absolutely right we can't let them get away this shit. I'm sick and tired of seeing this shit over and over again.

        Here's what we can do:

        1) Keep screenshots of atleast 10 before and after of items that are getting jacked.

        2) Make sure, you include dates and seller names on each screen shot for evidence.

        3) try to include a variety of different items from different sellers. This way we can prove it's not a few sellers but sitewide scam.

        4) Notify ebay first. Send them an email, expressing your concerns. Include a couple of screenshots in your email as evidence. I'm quite confident, eBay's not gonna care but that's good for us! Use the ebay correspondence for evidence as well.

        5) Submit an application with all your evidence on here: https://www.accc.gov.au/contact-us/contact-the-accc/report-a…

        Useful info: ebay Australia
Name of business: EBAY AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND PTY LIMITED
        ABN: 22 086 288 888
        ACN: 086 288 888

        6) Copy this post on other message boards to get the attention of many more buyers. The more people we have, more success our case gonna be.

Let''s make this happen Oz bargainers. It's our time to hunt for the biggest bargain of our life's haha. Good luck

Can we make this a sticky before any search link or even in the deal description of EVERY ebay sale?

          • @Bugs: Yes that would be great! I'm not sure how to do it tho

  • +1

    Jacking on gopros - $628 for a 7 black…
