[Switch] Overcooked 2 $26.25, Overcooked Special Edition $13, Cuphead $23.99 @ Nintendo eShop

560

Overcooked 2 - $26.25

Overcooked returns with a brand-new helping of chaotic cooking action! Journey back to the Onion Kingdom and assemble your team of chefs in classic couch co-op or online play for up to four players. Hold onto your aprons … it’s time to save the world (again!)

Overcooked Special Edition - $13

Overcooked is a chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players.

Cuphead - $23.99

Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era: traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolour backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!

  • Not bhed!!!

  • What's the difference between the two Overcooked games? Any point getting 1 over 2?

    • +3

The first game is harder and more challenging.

The second game is easier (and more friendly towards new players). It also has online plays and new level courses.

      IMO, get both games.

      • online plays

        You will never be alone.

    • Just to add to RichardL comments, second game introduces throwing mechanics where you can throw ingredients which makes the game more chaotic.

As for difficulty, second one is more friendly, but after you finish the game on the second, there is a hard mode in the form of 4 stars. My friends and I got 3 stars (highest rank) in the first game and had heaps of difficulty getting 4 stars in the sequel.

      Would recommend both as well

    • I love both. You'd be happy with either one of them. Try OC1, if you love it get OC2.

  • anyone know if i can buy the game without have switch. i'm still waiting for good deal for switch.

Never tried before. But seems you can buy part.

    • You could try purchasing by making a Nintendo Account. All those links in the OP are direct links to the Switch Games.

    • Did you end up figuring out if purchases work without a switch?

I have an account from borrowing my friends but don't think it's still linked or where the games…"go"?

      • I can't buy it without switch

  • +1

If you haven't played them I think bastion and Transistor are around $4, I saw celeste and golf story on sale as well, love both games but I can't see the price as I already own it so no idea if they're good deals but they're good games.

    • All those games you mentioned were posted earlier by doweyy.

    • To see prices of games you've already bought use Deku Deals.

Celeste is $18 and Golf Story is roughly $15

Hobb is on sale too only 20% but first drop since release, I played the demo and have been waiting for it to be discounted.

    Also of note:
    * Untitled Goose Game is 25% off (new game) for $22.50. This game has just been launched and you've probably heard about it. Good reviews and made in Australia.
    * Planet Alpha is 50% off for $13.50. I played the demo and quite liked it.
    * Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is 60% off for $31.98. I think that's a new low; before it was 50% off.
    * Stardew Valley is 20% off for $13.59. I think this is the first time it's been on sale on Switch.

Sorry I don't have links, I just got these looking at my wishlist on the console.
