        Aliexpress is like eBay - you are talking to the actual seller not Ali itself. The way payment works is in your favour at them.

          Nope.

          You have no recourse if a seller decides not to refund you.

          Ebay or Paypal will step in and issue a refund if warranted.

          Not the case with AliExpress.

          I had to have my bank step in to get a refund for an item that did not work at all.

      Hmmmm I think they've been pretty good for me, quite a lot of purchases.

      Though nothing expensive, and honestly it's possible I never got some items but didn't remember the item anyway…

        If it’s just my heart rate then I could be fine with the risk.

        But isn’t there a chance that the companion app is collecting other personal/financial data off your phone and sending it to some server overseas?

        Anyone ever looked into this before?
