only 4 months of my contract to go

    • Same here :D

  • +1

have got all three 99c deals so far, finally a flash Ebay deal that doesn't disappear in seconds.

    • +2

      This item disappeared in seconds

    • +3

I like that they're hidden. This way when they're released everybody has a chance from when it releases. For the other deals, people were pre-loading and betting on which item.

  • +2

    5w…… what a joke

    • -1

Yeah. Because I saw this I wasn't disappointed in missing out…

    • -6

your phone battery will thank you. higher wattage will warm up the battery and will degrade it quicker

      • Higher amperage*

You can get higher voltage and similar amps to get faster charge.

        • -2

P=VI, with increase in either voltage or amperage will result in increased power, will result in increased heat and hence shorter lifespan of battery.

          • @FeZZa21: M8. You didnt learn high school physics did you.

            P = V * I is correct.

However, if what you claim is true, why dont we transport 240V from plant to home?

Im not here to give you a science lesson, but power loss (heat generated, etc) is proportional to I^2.

            • -1

@ATangk: and M8 you're going off track. what do you mean by "why dont we transport 240V from plant to home?"? we already are?

anyway, my point was charging the phone wirelessly on a 5w charger will be better for the battery than on a 15w one. have you picked up a phone off a 15w wireless charger and felt how warm it got? my old s8+ did unless things have changed with recent wireless charging phones.

              • -1

                @FeZZa21:

what do you mean by "why dont we transport 240V from plant to home?"? we already are?

                HAHA.

Let me give you a link and a picture. Please educate yourself on why we transport electricity in the region of 110kV and 270kV.

If you want to get your point across, why dont you simply state that all wireless chargers are bad for your battery, and you should just plug a damn cable in. Dont make claims about wattage when its not true.

                • -1

@ATangk: you need to articulate your sentences better, and yes I was well aware off the kilovolts of potential energy that power stations generate.

because not all wireless charging are bad for the battery, what you want to avoid is heating the battery, and charging at lower rates will help in the long run.

                  • @FeZZa21: I am well aware of the fact you cannot spell. Nor do you know that kilovolts is not the correct unit for energy. Nor do you know the definition of potential energy.

All wireless charging is bad for the battery. In fact, all charging is bad for the battery. What you can do to prolong it is to keep it between 20% and 80% charge.

Also, lower rates in terms of wattage, as you initially claimed? That is false. Charging at (9V 1.2A) is better than charging at (5V 2.1A), even though it is lower wattage. But dont let that stop you from doing what you believe. After all, it is clear you skipped high school physics and do not intend to educate yourself.

                    • @ATangk: slow clap

                      good on ya champ

                      • @FeZZa21: Typical response from someone who can't admit they're wrong. Well done

                        • @ATangk: You don't need to concern yourself about my education, as long as I can support my family and life style with a healthy 6 figure salary, then that's all that matters.

                          • @FeZZa21: Keep living life in the slow lane with your 5W charger, diverging completely from the topic.

                            • @ATangk: are you jealous you didn't score one or something? lol my current phone doesn't even support wireless charging. got it so I can gift it to someone that needs/wants it.

                              • @FeZZa21: No, I'm just staring at my fast charger all day.

                                • @ATangk: if you're starring at it all day, then a 5w wireless charger would provide you with the same function without wasting your time. that's the whole point of wireless charging, to keep the phone on the wireless charger instead of table/desk so it can charge while you go on about your daily business.

  • Luckily got one.. but OOS already!

  • Best one yet. Keep em coming!

  • dam missed it that went fast … where ar eyou seeing these come up?

    • every hour

  • Is it useful??? Think I'll pass…

  • yes!! quite easy to get one

  • +1

It sold out … I couldn't get this.

  • Wow how on earth did it sell out already LOL

  • got one

  • Got one, what a great deal.

  • +4

Stellar deals… [stifling laughter] … glad to be involved!

5W charging pads go for $5-$20 depending on whether you buy locally or not, unless you slap a Belkin logo on them, then they go for $30+

It's not QuickCharge certified, same as most wireless pads because there was no standard until recently. This kind of deal just isn't worth the stress, same as the rest of this stuff.

At least the other hourly deals were either solid value and available, or quality in a lottery. This is just a trash lottery.

    • well said
whats the point of innovation if we stick with 5w
was surprised to see it was 5w
anyway others might have different perception

  • Got one thanks

  • +8

Nice. I have baby wipes and no baby as well as a wireless charger without anything that charges wirelessly.

Got one…looked it up afterwards, doesn't look great - 5w only.

  • You don't want it it's 5W, slow charging and bulky.

    • +3

      And it's $1.

      • +2

Exactly, it can be used as beside the bed or at work etc where you dont need quick charging and it can just sit there.

        • Yep, convenient for overnight charging.

  • +1

Only 5W. This thing is going to take forever to charge a phone.

  • Almost bought it on full price. Thank god it was out of stock xD

  • Can someone point me to the ebay link where these hourly deals!/sales will appear instead of waiting for the deal to be posted here? Thank you
