      Most standard older USB fast charging requires 2.1A, so if you plug 2 devices in, both will only slow charge (with ~1A each). Newer ones use PD charging (higher voltage & amps)

        I'v never understood why these integrated USB chargers dont come with 2 x 2.1A . ie Two independent circuits . Physical space?

  These appear to be a similar design to the old 'sockitz', which has the problem that the casing of many USB-A connectors are too large to fit into the sliding door area.

  How much does it cost to have this installed legally? i.e. by a licensed electrician so you won't void your house insurance policy in case your house burns down.

  Probably a few hundred bucks, doesn't seem worth it to me.

    Yes. Agent failed to mention that these need to be installed by a licensed electrician. Illegal otherwise.

    It would definitely be more cost effective when installing multiple outlets or have this installed alongside other electrical work that was required to be done.
