Wow. Amazing prices. Thanks for sharing.

  • They increase the postage cost by $20 for my area compared to last month listing. Maybe due to petrol increase?

My experience with them, they dispatched my tv after 5 business days, and the delivery was late by one day.

    • +1

Likely no control over it, Would be the transport company they use

    • I'm guessing they moved th o TNT because they had so many complaints with the previous courier (Hunter express) who are the biggest amateurs in the logistics industry and a beacon for unreliability and incompetence. I think it's a case of appliance central learning that you get what you pay for.

      • TNT Express vs Hunter Express. Go.

Purchased the 50' from these guys a month ago. Great experience & great TV. TV was delivered about a week and a half earlier than the estimated arrival date shown through ebay. Shipped with TNT to Melbourne Metro.
Note on the TV: had to do a firmware update out of the box as there was a bug with Netgear routers and the version of firmware the TV shipped with, do that first up before you pull out your hair.

    • I also bought one a month ago. Having trouble with the tv automatically connecting to my internet as I end up having to turn my modem off and on again while tv is on, is this the problem you had? Not sure how to fix but it drives me nuts

      • Yeah very similar issues, would refuse to connect to the Samsung server. I would also check the firmware of your router to see if it has an update available too.

  • Postcode 4877 “Item does not post to Australia” wtf?

  • Doesn't post to NT

    Sigh

    • People actually live there?

      • Yep, food source for the crocs.

        • We call them salties, not all crocs are created equal

    Supplier is fine.

Delivery is probably as fast as you would expect (I'm in Melbourne), certainly no slower than Amazon

    The LG price is excellent.

  • Would the 43" samsung be OK as a computer monitor? currently have a philips 40" UHD monitor but looking to repurpose it on another machine shortly. would also be nice to have one TV with multiple inputs for both my PC and game consoles in my study room :)

    • +2

I use this model as my PC monitor, it's great. Win 10 can be a bit weird about enabling the HDR and you'll need to make sure it's configured for 60Hz but other than that it's awesome. I've got it on a heavy duty monitor arm as well so it takes up bugger all desk space.

I also have a Switch, PS4 Pro and Xbox One X connected via a HDMI switch and they're all perfect with it as well.

      • Hey mate, can you recommend a solid hdmi switch please?

        • I have this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07DDPD895/ref=ppx_yo_d…

It passes through 4K HDR signal from the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X no problemo. It's got a remote too, but I've lost it. Only issue I've had is that every now and again it won't automatically switch to the powered device so I have to flick through them, but usually if there's only device on it will default to that.

    • Unless the TV has low input lag, I wouldn't use it as a monitor.

  • Which one is better Samsung or LG from the above mentioned options?

    • +1

With Samsung you get slightly better screen contrast. But LG comes with magic remote and google assistant with built in mic in the remote. At the end I choose LG and it has been great.

      • Thanks. Btw, do you know if the LG TV model is better than Samsung for gaming or are they roughly the same?

        • I guess the display of the game will be slightly more vibrant with Samsung, both should be comparable roughly. Sorry I am not an avid gamer. Maybe other can help.

  • Hmmmm. Can’t apply the promo code on the LG.

“This code can’t be applied to your order”

Just tried no issues, contact eBay support

      • Used the website, not the app.

  • where is 55 inch ?

  • +1

Jbhifi, the Goodguys and Harvey Norman have this same TV for $695.

    • Which TV, the LG?

    • Which TV?

      • samsung 50" RU7100

  • How do these compare with the Hisense R7 line?

    • +1

I'm in the same boat. The R7 wins out with Dolby Vision and Atmos support. I'm leaning towards the Hisense for that reason alone.

      • same, the 3 year warranty on the Hisense makes it alot more appealing.

Is the extra price difference for TVs like this worth it over ALDI TVs?

    • +1

      Yes.

    • YES

    • The answer to a question like that is always YES

  • LG is gone?

  • Where is Sony?

  • UA65RU7100WXXY Samsung 65" 4K UHD SMART TV. is this the Hisense 65R7 equivalent?

    • I'm also trying to decide between this or the Samsung ru7100 for a bedroom tv. Anyone have any suggestions? Cheers!

  • Cant seem to find any good deals on a 75" tv,been waiting for one. May have to bite the bullet and dont think it is a good idea to wait any longer for one to become available under my $1700 budget.

  • +1

Got the 55' inch Samsung :D Thank you for posting.

Also, I am thinking of buying a soundbar with it as it is on 20% off too.

    Anyone has any experience with

HW-R450/XY Samsung Series 4 Soundbar TV?

    Cheers

  • So glad the LG is back in stock. Bought

    • Same! I just got the 43" from these guys a few weeks ago and they had no problem with me swapping for the 50". These guys are really easy to deal with, and you can pick up your item on the same day that you order.

  • Awesome deals, however I would of definitely bought an 82 inch Samsung TV at these discounts :)

65 inch just isn't enough of an upgrade from my 50 inch 1080P lol

  • anyone able to price match at jb, gg or hn?

    • JB said they were unable to price match ebay stores. Offered me $989 for the 55 inch Samsung.

    • +3

Got the Samsung 50 inch price matched at JB! It was at the Melbourne city store.

      • How did you manage that as i didn’t think they priced matched eBay prices
Did they add on the delivery.

        • My sister just went in and told them what she could get it for delivered online. She said if they wanted her business they would have to price match delivered price ($576 + $40), which they went for after checking with the manager.

  • +1

I originally thought of getting the 43 inch but for $16 more for the 50 inch, I ended up getting the 50".
    Thanks OP

  • Thanks
    Bought one ….

  • Has anyone who ordered one of these received notification of shipping yet?

  • Mine was delivered on Wednesday 9th …
    Sure was fast.

  • LG tv got delivered today by Allied Express and the box had a hole in it.

Inside the box, the back of the top left corner has a dent and a scratch.

Turned on tv and it's super bright on that corner and a bit further down the left side.

Anyone here know what I should do?

    • Shouldn’t have accepted it or atleast made delivery person sign something about the hole in box, or not have opened it if someone accepted it on your behalf, Call appliance central asap to try sought it out
