Note this is the Bike Handle version.

RRP is $699 but it's also available at allmowers.com.au for $429+Delivery, so RRP might be inflated

  The EGO range is seriously powerful.. i picked up the line trimmer and the hedge trimmer when Masters went kaput and highly recommend them

    Ego make much better gear than the one+ range
    Look at the battery drain reviews and comparisons on YouTube.

      I can tell it's much higher quality but also looking to get a set of tools so was thinking it would be good to have one battery system.

        Unlikely you'll ever cross batteries from outdoor tools to power tools.

        Outdoor batteries are normally 2-3x capacity and would throw the balance of a impact driver way off.

    It really depends on how much you are going to use them. The Ryobi one+ stuff is good as it has such a broad range of tools. The Ego equipment is better quality but the range is limited to a few types of garden equipment.

  Ego is far better than the Ryobi gear. The 56v technology is far superior in every way.

    It actually comes with the normal line trimmer attached and you can change it to the solid blade

  Thanks OP! I bought this, plus some spares for our Ego chainsaw, a line trimmer head for this and a spare brushcutter blade for $509ish plus $20 shipping to redeem a second battery. Outstanding!

  Picked up one today along with the blower skin (+$200). Total spend $575 qualifies for free battery via redemption - Sensational value!

  Have also been happily using the EGO mower and hedge trimmer from the Masters closing down sale - almost 4 years ago now - still going strong!!

    What/where/how did you get a skin for $200?

    PS: Can the handle bars be taken off and replaced with a normal handle?
