I heard (read, on reddit) that this game on psvr is a bit lacking on PS4 PRO consoles… I've kinda been holding out for a muchly anticipated "pro-patch" before jumping in. Although I admit, i'm not entirely sure what is lacking (visual fidelity?)
No games have PSVR “pro patches” because Sony refuse to allow it. The game must run on the base console.
Sony must have forgotten to tell this to the developers of the following games:

@deek: Well there you go. I was just spreading bad rumors I read ages ago that I didn’t bother to check again. My bad.
I've only played it on PSVR, ever since the Beyond update. Pop-in is much more noticeable. For example, walking around, sometimes you'll see grass suddenly appear around you, and flying around in your ship, worlds seem fairly barren until you get close to something. A Pro update should help a lot with this. They could probably also crank up the super sampling, making text and objects all the more clearer in VR.
I'm taking a break from the game at the moment, but if they released a Pro patch, I'd be back into it right away. They've done an awesome job with the VR gameplay. It's up there as one of the best experiences in PSVR. I'm really impressed with it.

I remmembered The Gamesmen send me an email with this game in it for $1 ages ago.
Was like $25 on PS store last month, so this is a good price now the VR update has dropped.

@cnut: Ahh, I didn't realise that different games install/copy different amounts off the physical disc.
I assumed they all copied all data.
Anyone played this game on the Xbox one x? Have been reading it looks a tad better the the PS4 version but the PS4 version has a more stable frame rate @60fps
