Which iPad are you using? My 2018 has been running beautifully for the 15-months I've had it. Was impressed by how well my previous 2013 iPad Air ran on iOS 12.

I have the 2018 base 4G model with the much slower A10 CPU. Couldn't be happier - haven't had any issues - not even a single frame drop.
Definitely shouldn't be slow, but I'd insist on them replacing it if you're having 4G issues (bit annoying when you're spending so much).

Currently using iPad Gen 1 (almost dead) and iPad Mini Gen 1 (Very slow but Youtube still works).
I am hoping the performance to be a massive jump! Especially for my son who couldn't play many games as the new ones are not compatible with the older iOS 9 software.
Also, i'll be travelling overseas so i'll claim TRS and that would bring the price down to approx $762. So really great price! Better than the new 7th Gen iPad 2019.
