Face Mask & Beanie to compliment your purchase.

  • My friend had her bike chained and lost her key. One passer by offered to help while we were struggling with the reciprocal saw. He pulled out of his back an overly used looking bolt cutter and it did away with the lock in no time. He did not stick around after. The question was why is he carrying this in his small back pack?

To cut steel chains and locks, one would imagine

      That was your question?
Before I asked that, I would be asking how he managed to store something so big inside his body without it killing him.

An old friend of mine used to be a big time crook. He told me that if I was ever going into the can to do a stretch I needed to tell them I was insulin dependent and I could then use the needles as a trade item - sharp pics are hard to come by apparently. Never had to use his advice but I reckon if you could hide a half meter set of bolt cutters in the old prison safe you'd be in good.

Still chuckling for the same thoughts.
Was the word pack or passage missing!

    • Some thief's become such due to necessity.

Because of that sometimes you'll have someone who's happy to steal, but also happy to help others in need.

Someone who steals out of necessity will usually try to avoid confrontation, or risk of harming anyone, so the sort of person who would carry bolt cutters.

Just my opinion knowing a few people who did it tough, I'm not trying to justify their actions.

  • Just curious, what is the usual price?

  • Usual price is $30.

    Grabbed one.thanks

  • It will go well with my $18 sledgehammer from Supercheap.

  • Only need to use it once for it to pay for itself, thanks. A question please - does anyone know how the adjusting bolts on the RHS work?

  • Grabbed one today, shelf price was still $30….now to unlock my padlock

Grabbed one today. Wasn't even on the shelf. It has been left out the back to rust. Last one in Launceston.

      • I also grabbed one but tempted to take it back. Didn't realise until I got home how rusty my set was even for $10 it's a bit rough!

        • Mine were only a little bit rusty. I figured I could clean 'em up. It's now five weeks later but I'm sure I'll get around to it soon.

  • Got mine today. The quality is great for $10 but it is not 2 pieces. Rather, the handle is hollow and attacked to the head similar to crimping.
