  • Last time i bought a Antler branded luggage, it arrived damaged from postage. Little to say i demanded a refund because if it cannot handle postage, it wont handle the airport treatment..

    • That is quite concerning.
Do you recall what model it was?

      • Nope sorry hust remembered the the brand name Antler.

After reading the replies below it confirms my experience lol

    • thank you, looks like cheap luggage and i didn't think it could last. the super inflated price tag makes you think you are getting a bargain, but the sale price should really be its normal price. they are still going to make a lot of profit from it still.

  • Can anyone recommend some decently priced luggage that actually can survive a trip or two 😂?

    • Best I have used is American tourister.. David Jones just had a 2 for 1 sale which I should have jumped on, keep an eye out for when their luggage is on sale.. These days you get what you pay for.. For example this post.. Use to be a great company with good bags, now they resorted to cheap plastic which is easily damaged and not worth the discounted price

I noticed that my local coles is selling antler luggage. I don’t equate Coles with reliable luggage.

    • Yeah I noticed that too during my weekly shop. Think it was the Antler Quadrant? Seemed like an ok price but I did wonder what would happen with Warranty, guess you send it to the authorised repairer anyway.

Yes Quadrant. It is in the upcoming catalogue. $199 for two piece set

        • Sounds like they couldn't sell it at $200+ time to get rid of them. Though most stores seem to just have a handful.

For some reason I think if it was Aldi and they tried it, the items would be long gone with lines out the door.

    • Hi, is this better option https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-vic-metro-braybrook-nth/produc…
can you suggest any other ?
carry on suit case are around 100$

      • This is the same one I was discussing, it is just cheaper now. I can’t speak about the quality of these as I have not used them. Assume they come with some kind of warranty.

This is the set that is shipped from the Groupon deals. I recently bought some and can confirm that they do feel a bit cheap. The plastic is relatively soft and is easily compressed with just a little force. Notwithstanding that, I'm currently using them on a trip and they're holding up ok.

Another thing to note, the zippers aren't that friendly and sometimes are hard to use.

Can buy on Groupon for $278.95 (using BRANDNEW coupon code) + 15% cashback from Cashrewards :)
