Just be aware, if you have big hands, you are better off with the red one…

Actually made me laugh. Champion effort.

      Are you sure?
      . Specifications
      . Product Height (cm) 0.6
      . Product Width (cm) 0.99
      . Product Depth (cm) 0.39
      Seems kinda small…

        woooooosh

        • +7

I did get it mate and it was funny… Look at the specs :)

        • +2

          OK I'll admit I'm wooshed.

Big hands. Red one. Some kind of penis joke?

          It just doesn't make sense.

60 mm from the Logitech website
        60 mm is 6 cm…
This is why school is important mate

        • +7

I agree that school is important.
          Have you considered glasses?
0.6cm is not 60mm (I didn't write the above specs it was a copy & paste)

Good one. You've mellowed with age JV.

  • No eBay plus free delivery?

    • Nope

  • I am still hanging out for a Logitech sale for a MK270R keyboard and mouse combo (this mouse is part of the combo).

  • +1

why cant they sell the red at at that price? Red goes faster.

    • Not if you price it higher 😂

  • +2

This is actually cheaper than buying a spare unifying receiver.
Édit: can anyone confirm the “nano receiver” is the “unifying receiver”?

    • But can you convert this dongle to be universal?

    • +3

It would be if it had a unifying receiver. Not an orange star, not a unifying receiver

      • OK thanks. Shame. I've been able to use the receiver from a M235 (with orange dot) with my MX anywhere for which I lost the receiver, I was wondering how cheap I could go if I lost that receiver too.

    • doesn't have a red stamp on the dongle. So i guess it can only have one connection at a time.

    • +7

it's not a unifying reciever..it the generic one they use for any ~<$30 mouse. Apparently this works but have not tried it myself

      first thing I thought of.

I bought a Logitech mouse from gumtree for $5 for just the unifying receiver. Cheapest UR around.

The dude was going on about spare batteries and I was like ok ok thanks.. just threw the mouse in the bin when I got home. They're too small to use, hurts my hands. UR works great with my bigger mouse though.

And thankyou for reading my story.

      • A true Ozbargainer would have sold the mouse instead of binning it. "One slightly used mouse, dongle not included".

        • it was worse than average wear and literally no-one was buying it (for $5) when it DID have a dongle, his ad was on for like a month.

I could have tried to sell it for $2 I guess? Would that have made me a "true ozbargainer" ?

  • Mice*
I'm sure it can be either because computers always make things different, but it still gets to me lol

    • "Mouses" was common in the late 80s and early 90s. It's swung back to mice now, but both are acceptable.

if you don't like to pay for $10 postage and there's no GG nearby, BigW is selling the Red M185 for $14. https://www.bigw.com.au/product/logitech-wireless-mouse-m185…

    • Interestingly enough, postage is $5.26 for me.

    • I heard it's bigger

  • Thanks grabbed one as old one lost receiver.

  • Thanks OP, bought one for my nephew

  • Good price but if you spend a lot of time on the computer and use the scroll wheel often, the minimum I'd go for is the M325 model which has a smooth scroll wheel action instead of stepped scroll wheel of this model (and the M235 model). It's a world of difference in comfort. I have relegated the M185s to the kids' computers which they use intermittently.

    • That's a matter of personal preference though. I prefer the stepped wheel as to me if gives better feedback. Some Logitech models are also switchable from smooth to stepped wheel too.

  • Does this install as a composite USB device on Windows?
