I have heaps of these but I now much prefer the U ones, much thicker material.

    • +1

U one are thicc and rough whereas this is soft

      • +5

Yeah don't know why the female version of the U t shirts are heaps softer. #unfair

    • I usually prefer the Supima U Tshirts. Thick and soft.

    • Agreed, I love the U ones, super nice colours and very durable. These ones are soft but too thin imo. I actually quite like the roughness and the boxy cut of the U ones.

Can I have the link ?

Bought them at the last deal

While they are nice, trying to figure out why they are so popular here

( Compared to eg the $3 dollar clearance shirts from the target deal, also 100% cotton)

Do these not fade/ change shape over time/ many washes?

    • They don't fade or changed shape. They do develop small holes though over several years.

develop small holes though over several years.

        Self-evolving fashion. What a bargainz

    • For me they do fade and change shape but not as much as the target ones. I prefer the fit of these ones to Target. For my next batch of Uniqlo ones i'll try to follow the washing instructions a bit better…

      • I flip my clothes inside-out to help with the fading - dk if it really helps..

    • +2

The Target ones definitely stretch out after one wash. Uniqlo after being through several still stay the same.

    • They're really good quality as well for what you're paying for them. $3 clearance shirts probably don't get through as many washes

  • i've one and honestly, it's not really good when it's too hot.

  • my wwhite t-shirt turns yellow after a few washes.

You shouldn't be using your washer as a portable loo.

    V-Neck or bust.

    • +2

I like a bit of bust myself.

Someone said on the last deal that the dry packaged ones are longer in the body. I notice some of my Uniqlo shirts are too short, I'm wondering if it's the Supima ones. Can anyone confirm?

Edit. Just looked at the measurements, the Supima run slightly smaller than the Dry Packaged.

    • That was me. Bought a size up in the supima last time and they are much better. Prefer the supima over dry packaged now, especially now I have the sizing right.

  • Does anyone know if sizing differs from UNIQLO in Japan?

Bought some XL shirts last time in Japan, not sure if Aust sizing is any different?

All my shirts are L and the UNIQLO ones i got from Japan are XL. Do they usually tend to run small for us here in Aust?

    • +2

Had some bought from Singapore before and the L felt like the Australian M.

anyone know when this sale ends, shipping times and if we can exchange in store?

        • +2

          no no yes

        • Ends 16th of October, shipping to WA is about 5-7 working days from experience (shipped from Sydney I think) and you can return in-store if the tags are still on within 30 days.

    • +2

      Australia/US are bigger and fatter.

Overseas/Asia will usually be smaller indeed.

I wear M here and Holiday in Cambodia needed L's even then some were still like a tube top!

    • Mine bought in May were the same size.

Uniqlo don't offer in-store pick up of purchases?. Seems a bit ridiculous not to offer such a service.

    • +4

buy $60 worth of stuff and then return the items you dont want in store for free shipping.

      • +1

        Damn that's Next LEVEL.

Make it easy- Buy what you want then add an item worth the difference, then return that single item.

    • +1

Seriously… What store doesn't provide free click and collect in this day and age? I was planning to buy 2 of these, but won't now.

      • +1

Just go in store and buy it, their stores are pretty organised and they have plenty of these in stock.

        • -1

Buying in-store doesn't get me cashback

          • @starbearer: U get a $5 discount in store with the app lol, even better than cashback btw if you're buying 2 only..

            • @[Deactivated]: Only if you spend $50, do you get a $5 discount …

              • @kerfuffle: That's only after the first coupon though, you can just make a new account lol

  • Searching for v neck "Supima Cotton V Neck" resulted with bra on the first two results d'oh!

    • Checked two stores, no v-neck supima this season.

  • How much is shipping?

  • Uniqlo stopped stocking button down collar business shirts in Australia, but continue to sell that shit everywhere else in the world. I'm really annoyed with the things we get here.

  • I usually prefer the Supima U Tshirts. Thicc and soft.
