From the website: Observer:

What Would You Do if Your Fears Were Hacked?
You are Dan Lazarski, an elite neural detective known as an Observer, and part of a corporate-funded police unit whose purpose is to hack and invade suspects’ minds. In this future, anything you think, feel or remember can be used against you in a court of law.
The year is 2084. If you somehow survived the Nanophage, odds are you were killed in the War. Those who live have turned to drugs, VR, neural implants— anything to distract themselves from this new reality. But they can’t hide from you.

In this brand new standalone experience, Alan Wake fights the herald of darkness, the evil Mr. Scratch! A thrilling new storyline, hordes of creepy enemies, serious firepower and beautiful Arizona locations, combined with a fun and challenging new game mode make this a must for Alan Wake veterans, and the perfect jumping on point for new players!

Key Features:

  • Play the full-fledged Story Mode: You’ll be on the edge of your seat as you fight to stop your murderous evil double to take back your life… and change reality itself!
  • Fight till dawn arcade mode: In the action-packed Arcade Mode, you’ll need to master the Fight with Light mechanic to stay alive until dawn and beat your friends on theLeaderboards. Can you survive until sunrise?

Apparently a bunch of DLCs are free too - they have to be got manually (thanks to DogGunn for mentioning this).

There are a bunch of DLCs, but only 2 are free.

      • I got three free add-ons. I don't care how many - free is great so I won't complain. I got three than I would have normally.

Apparently Marsvision Song Contest was free before but now isn't anymore. I was lucky enough to grab it while free.

  • had issues obtaining the free DLC's within application however works fine when using web browser.

The Observer is soon being removed from Xbox Gamepass so I'm glad I'll have a copy to play at my convenience and without having to pay for it. I've been interested in checking out. Thanks OP.

  • yea keep giving me free games please. ill still be using gog galaxy 2.0 when i get a key.

    • I got invited last week, turns out it was for my alternate email and not my main GoG account. Stoked. Not

      • I had the same problem. If you change you're gog account email to your alternative email temporarily you can use the beta client for now. Change your email back when it's fully released.

  • Observer is pretty cool, it's a fairly trippy cyberpunk-esque detective game. Great voice acting and visuals. There's no combat but there are some chase scenes.

    1. Snap up the latest free game from Epic
    2. Never actually play any of the previous hoarded games
    3. Eagerly await next weeks releases.
    • I played Road to Eden and it was short but great game.

I never played Arkham Knight because of the PC bugs but for free, I gave it a go as well.

  • Thanks OP

  • Observer: ESRB rating

    "Intense Violence
    Blood and Gore
    Sexual Themes
    Partial Nudity
    Strong Language
    Use of Drugs"

    Awesome. Count me in.

The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and you have burned so very very brightly, Rutger. Rest in peace.
