  • Is this worth it?

12% cashback on Shopback (assuming it tracks with these codes). $2159 after CB. Hmmm. Maybe it is? I could see this being a good deal if there's shoppers protection to claim later because I definitely see further price cuts.

I don't actually need it though… but am still considering it. Wow.

I've heard the Iris Plus is bested by a mere MX150.

    • I'd rather get the Inspiron 15 7000 black 2 in 1 with 30% discount as it at least has a gpu even if it is only a MX250 and at 15" is larger and heavier than the 13"..

But in my mind, I get nagged by the soldered gear as it makes me feel like it is worth even less and is less useful down the track for self repair or hand me down gifting.

      • what about the 51m, at least it has a desktop cpu

  • I really like this 2-in-1, it ticks lots of boxes but the lack of a docked stylus like the Lenovo C940 or even over it's lesser sibling, the Inspiron Black Edition 2-in-1 (with Gen 10 but no Iris Plus) that has a full stylus that clicks in and charges makes me pass on the 7390.

I have a Surface Pro and it's a pain looking for the stylus when I want it, so I am giving tge 7390 a pass and awaiting a good deal on a FHD (for the longer battery life) Lenovo C940

    • SP stylus should attach magnetically to the side?

  • I purchased the imspiron 13 2 in 1 black version 10th gen i7 16gb 512gb hd the other day for $1600 after flip5, spring 30,and cashback. Couldnt justify paying more for xps.

    • Isn't the screen on the xps much better?
And… Is the deal you got still valid?

    • Did you get 12% cashbacks from shopback with these two coupons used?

  • Will shopback 12% work on this?

    • it's officially not meant to, but you have nothing to lose. I have done it several times using unlisted codes and still got the cashback.

      • +2

Got an email from shopback today with $114 cashback tracked after using all three coupon codes on Inspiron 13 black edition. Slightly over 7% of what I paid.

        • Yesterday Shopback for Dell was paying 12%.

I didn't pull the trigger because it was still more expensive than I'd like to pay for a 13" laptop, but I was considering it.

I don't want to pay more than 1.6k so I'll wait till end of year sales or for a deal on the Lenovo C940.

You will also get a Dell coupon for 5% of the price you paid, going into your email a few weeks after delivery (to make sure you didn't refund the laptop).

          • @lostn: I was waiting for a deal on the c930 for about 3 months but the price just wouldn't go down from the $1999 they have on their site for the base model. Couldn't wait anymore.

Think I got a sweet deal on the Inspiron with nearly maxed out specs for $1578(minus whatever cashback I get). Although the xps and c930 look a lot more premium which has been bugging me this morning lol.

  • Was this listed at a discount or did the various codes bring it down to that price?
