The Mavic 2 Zoom from DJI is a professional quality film making drone that gives you the ability to get closer to the action, thanks to its 2x 24-48mm optical zoom camera with a 1/2.3" 12MP sensor. With 4x lossless zoom (including 2x optical zoom) you can capture sensitive subjects from an even greater distance. There's even a single-tap aerial mode called Dolly Zoom that gives a Hitchcockian effect to your footage.

The Mavic 2 Zoom utilizes a low-drag aerodynamic body design for achieving speeds up to 47.7 mph, a four-cell LiPo battery for up to 31 minutes of flight time, and low-noise propellers for filming without being distracting. This power and performance are coupled with a variety of shooting modes and capabilities for cinematic results.

In order to help keep the Mavic 2 Zoom safe and in control, DJI has provided OcuSync 2.0 video transmission technology that can transmit a video feed to the included controller from up to 5 miles away in Full HD 1080p quality.   • I ordered in-store (NSW) and haven’t heard anything. No calls, no email, nothing.

    I have a printed order confirmation and register receipt for payment. Should I wait it out? Or follow up and risk being asked to come in for a refund?

    • They should’ve called you regardless of order being honored or cancelled. No news is probably better than bad news here.
      Call the customer service number and be lean towards that your order is being honored and when you can expect to collect it.

    I just used my e-card and bought physical gift cards just to be on the safe side.

    • Did you just go in store and buy a Bunnings gift card and pay for it with the one they’ve sent? I’d prefer to have a gift card of the type that I can debit with smaller amounts rather than an all or nothing voucher.

    Picked up my store order. Never had a more annoyed staff member serve me. ‘So what are you gonna do with it, sell it?’ ‘It should’ve been cancelled’ , ‘who told you to come and collect it’ etc

    • Just a salty staff to forget, move on and have fun with your drone.

    • Perhaps the staff was upset as (s)he didn't get one.

  • I may have been one of the more unlucky ones. It looks like my refund has been processed but no gift card, I have reached out to Bunnings customer support but nothing too concrete yet, but hey, at least I got the refund!

    My order was for delivery, but I got a call from my closest Bunnings saying it had arrived to their store and he asked which address to send it to (it was on the online order, so I don't know why he called). Anyway, I said I was 15 minutes away and I'd just come pick it up. The guy seemed pretty nice to begin with, but then was a bit grouchy when he gave it to me. But he was nice enough to give me a $10 refund because I'd already paid for delivery. When I left the store the security checked my receipt and what was in the box. He then said to wait there a second because he didn't believe the price was correct. Just as he begun walking to the special orders pickup guy, the guy at the counter looked at him and gave a 'shoo' gesture. So I guess I was free to leave :P

    All up, 11/10 experience and would take advantage of another pricing error. I now own four drones…

    • I received an SMS this morning that it's ready to pickup. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not but I emailed customer support last night asking about it.

  • Bummed I didn’t receive the drone. Ended up purchasing a DJI Mavic Platinum and using the Bunnings $250 gift voucher towards two batteries for it. I was genuinely looking at purchasing a drone days prior to this pricing error as well. Oh well

  • So is this the end of this thread? The DJI / Bunnings deal is over or are people in discussions with Bunnings still or waiting for their orders?

    Bunnings called and asked me for a time i will be home to organize delivery, the store was only 5 minutes away so i asked them if i could pick up instead. They offered to refund my $9 shipping fee (which i declined)

    Picked it up and they congratulated me on the bargain.
