I've cut slices so thin I couldn't even see them.

How would this product go at removing a mole from one's shoulders?

      • Oh no you just need to take a sample from it.

but where does the meat go?

    • +6

My girlfriend has a pair of heels that are a bit too high…any chance I could borrow the slicer?

    • I used to have one of these and you can't cut it very thin unless you half freeze the meat before hand.

How’d you know you cut them?

  • Thanks bought a couple. Will see how they go

    • Make sure to stretch far

Came for the Seinfeld references and didn't leave disappointed.

Commented on this last time it was posted.

Bought one of these before. Its crap.

    -Rusts very quickly.

-Blade is too slow and ends up grabbing the meat and spins it around.

-Some of the sliced meat comes out if the back of the machine.

-The plastic attachment is too flimsy and does not hold the meat firmly.

    -Awkward to clean.

    In other words. Don't bother.

That is the exact same experience I had with a similar slicer. You needed to half freeze the meat before cutting or it would just make a big mess. You also needed to cut about 5kg of meat before it made the cleanup time worth it.

So did i, and mine still works great with no rust in sight, learn to maintain your things properly.

grabbing the meat and spins it around.

      I'm pretty sure there's a website where I've seen that before…..

I already knew it. Never buy Kogan branded products. Ever.

      • Yeah, I don't bother anymore, too many shoddy products. Although their DC motor fan was and still is working great.

But where does the meat go?

    • -1

      Heaven.

    • Right there.

      • Right where?

        • Right here

  • I had one of these, and cut a lot of meat with it (for jerky). The motor got so weak that now I wouldn't be able to use it. But I reckon if you were going through something a bit easier and less frequently it would do the job.
