  • It's Scoot, infamous for sometimes not even letting you drink your own water that you brought on board.

    For real ?

    • Yes its true even when we had a 2 year old they wouldnt let us use own water And this was a full service fare flying under singapore airlines.

    • I flew with them last weekend. This is simply not true, I was able to fill up my 1.5L bottle at the gate and drank that throughout the flight. Didn't get told off for eating this time but do make sure you don't bring anything smelly. I got told off for eating mcnuggets previously (FA insisted on taking my food and I said I was almost done - i.e. a lie but I scoffed the rest quick smart).

    • That wasn't my experience either when I flew with them in 2018.

  • Not being able to drink your own water should be illegal esp when there are people traveling with little ones

I find it a bit misleading how they list prices like "From $200", then you go on their site and any date you select where the flight is $200 to the destination it's $750 for any reasonable length of stay on the leg back…

i think it's very clear they're one way , not return or leg back

      • Only clever if someone books at the absurd rate

I had no problems drinking my own bottled water on my flight to Singapore a week ago, they do play many recorded announcements that consumption of your own food is prohibited.

  • Are you allowed to add baggage/meals later? That way if you change your mind when it approaches closer to the date then you only forfeit the cost of the base ticket
