$10 Standard or V-Max Tickets + Booking Fee @ Event Cinemas

4020
SPRING19

I was randomly trying coupon codes when this one worked for $10 tickets. I'm unsure where it came from or the conditions for it but I've been successfuly seeing movies using it.

It seems to be valid for any standard or v-max session for any movie at any time as far as I can tell.

Edit: apparently no longer working for Star Wars

Also keep in mind the below disclaimer.

      • +1

now all you need is some Cannabis.

      • Joker on cannabis was pretty intense.

  • +4

poor OP, probably nerfed the deal for personal use in the future lol

    • +11

      • legend!

  • this available on the central coast?

  • still working for me, just got a ticket for joker this weekend

  • Invalid code now. Booked this weekend but now not working for another booking. Oh well, got one movie out of it

    • just saw the edit about not working with skywalker. Still able to book other movies

  • +2

Thanks OP, managed 2 tickets to star wars on opening day.

  • Apart from the ability to pre-book Star Wars (which has now been blocked), isn't it cheaper to buy tickets from Groupon and use them in person? The booking fee makes the ticket $11.50.

Eg. Tickets are $13.50 from Groupon, and if you buy them when they do their common 10% off sitewide, and stack it with the usual "triple" 15% cashback from Cashrewards, it brings tickets down to $10.33. If you use them in person you avoid the booking fee, and also you don't have to choose a date and time right this second.

Is this correct? Can someone please confirm?

    • +9

yeah but you can't get Vmax at $10 on groupon mate lol

      • Thanks for responding - sorry I was referring to the standard tickets, not Vmax

    • Groupon is for standard tickets, this offer is for standard and vmax.

    • +3

I'd rather just input a code & pay the extra $1.17. Considering VMAX are usually $26 at Pacific Fair (where I normally go), it's still a ripper bargain.

  • I just bought 2 tickets to each of Maleficent, Terminator: Dark Fate and Gemini Man successfully…

  • +13

They would be mad to block this. It’s actually encouraging me and my partner to go to the movies and that is usually a rare occasion!

  • Damn.. just came in to buy more Star Wars tickets (apart from my midnight already booked)

  • +1

    Absolute legend for finding this.

  • +11

Cinemas will be full of ozbargainers.
    Good place to chat deals.

    • +9

If you're chatting during the movie I'm throwing popcorn at the back of your head (that i made at home on the cheap of course).

  • Great deal thanks OP! However unsure if there's any good movies left to watch hmmm…

  • Great find! Thank you!

  • Any good kids movie recommendation where I can use this code?

    • Dora and the Lost City of Gold

    • +2

Abominable is out which is supposedly a good watch according to my friends. That's what I plan to watch this weekend

  • Does this work on shows tagged with 'Family Saver'?

  • Yep, confirmed star wars isn't working with code :(

  • +3

Figured out how to book star wars. Just book any vmax and swap to star wars. Easy

    • +2

May the force be with you!

    • Couldn't swap the tickets :( Maybe they caught on…

    • how do you swap it?

  • +2
