  • Does this work with Google home?

    • +1

Any bluetooth speaker will work with a google home. But the lights, no. Maybe that is why they are cheap :)

      • A simple Google search indicates it will work with Google home.

  • What a great idea to put a speaker in a bulb…

    • +3

Great - you end up with 50% of a light, and 25% of a speaker. Neither will be good ;-)

  • +1

Great in theory but the sound is awful apparently.

    • +2

Sound is great foe something so small great for in the bathroom. Use mine daily.

  • In the future there will be a speaker in a toilet seat.
    Or maybe they already have

    • +1

Gee… this music sounds like shit!

    • +5

y thinkin of th rectal-woofer. resonates thru the seat when y poop, otherwise transmits silently thru skeletal system and only you can hear. Iā€™m listening to Sia thru my rectum as we speak

Helpful if it can play the Brown Note.

I can barely believe there is a wikipedia page for this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_note

      (no ,not Uncyclopedia, I double-checked :-)

    • Yep, I've seen toilet seats that play music so it masks you're own sounds.

    • I'm sure Japanese toilets already have this.

  • +4

I have one of these and they are total junk. Great price though!
Bluetooth speaker only seems to work if you're with a 1 meter radius.
Wi-Fi dropping in an out constantly.

On the plus side, it makes a nice little tune when you switch it on šŸ™ƒ

    • +1

This has Bluetooth connectivity not Wi-Fi so that's probably the reason it cuts off for you. Claims to be 10 metre Bluetooth range

      • +1

        Oh woops - you're right.
I did mean the Bluetooth drops out constantly for me anyway.
Even for the light control functions - so gotta stick with a metre or 2

  • My Bunnings said it is $14.25. Wouldn't budge on matching price with this bunnings.

  • I agree, poor light and crap sound. It's heavy too, so when on a light stand makes it top heavy and easy to fall over. When it broke I wasn't upset
