Redmi AirDots are very good for the price, very good sound quality, highly recommended :)
Do you recommend the basic or Pro 2 model?
I never tried the Pro 2 model, but I would guess the sound quality cannot be much better as these sound great.
The battery life might be slightly better with the Pro 2, also believe the case quality is better as the case with the Redmi's is just average (but does the job so no worries there) :)

What is the difference China version vs Global version?
I believe Global has English voice assistant and voice control, whereas the China has Mandarin.

Be careful with Gearbest only use Paypal they are very very dodgy and hard to deal with if issues.
