    That looks uncomfortable as hell!

    • +26

I just assumed thats what industrial meant

      • I actually had a mental picture of some kind of metal frame chair for "Industrial"
        :P

      • Amish

So your visitors will eat less!

      • +15

        … and leave sooner.

        • +3

… and invite you to eat (for free) at their place next time.

        • Sold

    • even at 29 i wouldnt want to sit on this

    • and ugly as well.

    • The individual equivalent of church pews, designed to prevent people from getting comfortable and snoozing. Just for eating it is acceptable (and very affordable), but if, like me, you sometimes sit at the dining room table and read, write, etc for longer periods, this is a product to avoid.

If you looked up "chair" in the dictionary you'd see this. Most bog-standard chair I've ever seen.

    • +3

Tbh that's fine, lets it blend in anywhere.

    • Wait, you have a picture dictionary?

      • Plenty of real (i.e. not pocket-sized) dictionaries have pictures.

    • Nvm… Just look to the right of your screen. (Mine is now suddenly filled with pictures of chairs [sigh!].)

RRP $179 hahaha they're dreaming - I can buy a while dining SET for that price

    • +23

Sure, but it's gonna be chipboard crap.

      • +3

… and stapled together with a nice rocking motion to go with it.

          Here have my 25,440th

It's precious, take special care of it

          • @spackbace: Simple economics would say it's nowhere near as valuable, but it's free and I'll take it.

@Tafe: Spoken like a true OzBargainer

  • question, the color mentions earl grey. Is the color in pic reflective of the color of the chairs?

    • they seem to have live chat, probably the best way to find out.

Not bad. Can get 6 chairs for under the cost for one at their inflated $RRP

    Was $179, what a joke!
Regular price @ Ikea is $30 with similar design, in black or white

    • They are surprisingly solid even though they don't look it.

    • +1

These are 10% cheaper though, if your maths is really bad

    • +2

I think $179 is a bit ridiculous, but the Ikea ones look much cheaper and a lot more flimsy to me.

      • +1

Yeah, I would think these ones are more sturdy. RRP is a joke though.

    • $50 delivery in Adelaide for six of those, not too bad. IKEA is a 45 minute drive away.

    • Well…. I guess they're both chairs

  • +5

    Good quality firewood 👌

    • +2

you need to sand it first

      • shhhh…

  • +3

    LOL @ the RRP.

  • +1

I feel sorry for anyone who paid $179 for a basic chair made from pine.

    • +1

Small change for rich industrialists. We only get them for this cheap because they are left overs. The profits have long gone!

    • The salesman saw them coming.

  • +3

Looks like the chair they use for executions in the USA.

    • they use a cheap trolley for lethal injections

    • Manufacturer refurbished?

  • +1

Thanks OP but I'm looking for a chair for domestic use…

    • -1

domestic violence at an industrial level…wow

  • At Ikea this is called, minimalistic fashion chair

  • Says only 1 left in stock…

  • Constructed Using Reclaimed Aged and Weathered Pine

I'm guessing this would look like a particularly nice piece of furniture for people who like homestead style dining settings.

  • They are good quality chairs made of Australian wood

  • +1

    10 year warranty. Not bhed.
