      Looks like meaning the stand is similar (not the super slimline edge). How does it compare with the Samsung performance wise though?

        Hi Giggidy.
        We reckon the Hisense stacks up pretty well. 200Hz with full web browser lines it up against the Series 7 Samsung, costing $3,079 at the moment.

        The Samsung is going to be a marginally better TV when lined up side by side. How much better is very subjective. The Hisense however will still produce a very high quality image, which when sitting on it's own in the lounge room will be very impressive.

        Is the Samsung $1300 or so better? I'm not so sure that it is.

    I've just bought 55" one samsung UA55D6000 from JBHIFI @$1795 yesterday(ticket price 2596), Unfortunately cant get finance at this price. You guys may go and get price match.

      That's a great price for that TV. However it is only 100Hz and has no web browsing capabilities. Different kettle of fish.

    JB will sell this for $1680 with two 3D glasses. That's the price we paid one month ago.
