Is there anything better in this price range?

  • Define better, what are you looking for? Brand, size, Hz, or as long as it's a monitor?
    https://www.kogan.com/au/shop/tablets-laptops/computer-monit…

IMO this has better Hz but smaller @ $199.99 + delivery
    Kogan 24" Full HD Curved 144Hz Freesync Gaming Monitor (1920 x 1080)

This is 27" but lower Hz @ $189.99 + delivery
    Kogan 27" Full HD FreeSync 75Hz Frameless Monitor (1920 × 1080)

    • Are Kogan monitors any good?

    • Thanks! they definitely look better than the one I found on eBay.
Dont care about brand. Would prefer 27-30 inch. Wasn't fussed about hz until i started reading reddit. Now im thinking of spending a little more.

  • If not fussy and trying to save dosh, 24-27 FHD monitors are really cheap. like 50 and up.

    • new or used?

      • I'm so sorry. I meant to say used on gumtree and FB marketplace.

  • This one often goes on sale to around the $250 mark.

It's probably the best value for the price range
    -QHD (2K)
    -IPS (better colours)
    -Large Size
    -75Hz refresh

Only reason to go FHD over 2K for this price range is if you wanted a higher refresh rate (can get 144hz 1080p for this range)

    • That looks good, Might have to keep an eye on this, Thanks!

      • I love 144hz to be honest (I actually have a better system and have a 240hz) but I play FPS games (Fortnite)

75 is fine if you don’t play FPS games competitively.

  • VX3276-2K-mhd recommended. You bought a decent spec PC, get a decent monitor for it. Not 1080p…

    • That's true. The one you recommended is only 60hz though right?

      • Yes, you won't need more than that realistically unless getting into very competitive ranked play.

      • Not true. That guy recommends the same monitor on every monitor thread , just because he owns one.

get a decent monitor for it. Not 1080p…

this comment is an utter joke , resolution does not determine how 'decent' it is

resolution determines how close you sit to your monitor

you can achieve the same view by adjusting your sitting distance

do you see why gaming tournament / competition , using 24" 1080p monitor ? Because they can't afford a 'decent' monitor ??? HAHAHHAHA … NO !

you won't need more than that realistically unless getting into very competitive ranked play.

        this guy is blind

75hz is night & day compared to 60hz , EVEN ON DESKTOP BY MOVING YOUR MOUSE OR FOLDER

  • Can’t post eBay link

What about this: Viewsonic VX2458-C-MHD 24in Curved FreeSync 144Hz VA Gaming Monitor
