Asahi Super Dry 500ml 24pk Cans $53.60 + Delivery (Free with eBay Plus/C&C) @ First Choice Liquor eBay

PSLEIGH

Tho you can usually get it cheaper from boozebud (when they have it in stock/and new customer). This is still a really excellent price, if you dont wanna go through all that hassle and is looking to maybe stock up for the summer.

Amazing beer thats been bottled in Japan unlike the bottle version.

Read this before buying any product canned or bottled in Japan.
They are dangerous goods especially Asahi. Asahi has their brewery in Fukushima where the nuclear plant incident happened.

    • ive been drinking asahi for years but now that you mention it, my urine has been glowing in the dark for about a decade, i always thought it was just a super power i had, maybe not??

        lol very funny.
You will not experience immediate effect but it will build up. If you can avoid the risk, why not?
People are saying that Tokyo Olympics are not safe too.
I have Japanese friends living in Melbourne and they are not touching directly imported Japanese Beers as well.

          Interesting link. At this line:

          According to "60 Minutes Australia"

          I realised it was satire.

          • @Dice: sure, let's downplay a nuclear disaster rivaled only by Chernobyl…

            • @diamondd: That's not the case. I'm merely playing down the far fetched notion that this beer could be contaminated by nuclear fallout.

Asahi has breweries and other bottling facilities in Ibaraki, Kanagawa, Osaka, Gunma as well as Fukushima (to name a few). It doesn't seem difficult for Asahi to move production if there was any concern in Fukushima. They are a massive company with massive scale of manufacturing.

    • So now I have to buy a Geiger Counter before drinking this stuff…takes some of the glow out of my bargain buy.
Maybe this is why it's popping up on special, but it does taste good :(
