Don't post things that we can't access. Thanks.

Sharing it so people would check to see if they have access to it. Hence why I said it may be targeted.

Thanks for sharing. I got it but I also like to know what others got . Also this forum is good for discussion about deals.

got the email but when i click 'register now' it takes me to a broken link…

    • I got that but it worked again after the second time I clicked the link.

    • same issues here as well.
URL in the email is linking thru to paypal-proserv.com but looks like the domain is not responding back.

    • I managed to register, FYI. But yes, the connection was not stable. Once you get the $0.01 transaction gone on your paypal, you'll know it has gone through.

    • Yeah same here…

    • Same here

    I got this offer too!

  • How does qantas know whether youre new to paypal or not

    • Well Paypal would know so I guess they relay that information when you sign up for paypal? I guess you can always sign up a new paypal account? Rats, I just thought about that!

      What browser did you use?

      • Chrome - but did try both firefox and edge

but 5 -10 minutes later i tried chrome again and it just worked (Desktop)

    Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request

Reason: Error reading from remote server

  • Got the email too, but the link doesn't work.

    I get a 404 -

    Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.

  • Been trying to for the last 5-10 minutes. Finally worked on Chrome Desktop.

getting hold of your buying history must be very valuable.

    • Yeah it’s making me hesitant, Linking the account, I’ll sleep on it

  • im getting half way, keeps on coming up with "error, please enter full URL"

also, to get the bonus do you need to use a qantas point based credit card?

or you just have to spend $1000 via paypal

  • Worked for me this morning.

  • ive tried it about 40 times, evertime it stops at different stages,

however my card has been charged $0.01
do you have to do anything after the 0.01 has been debited? eg enter a code,

Icant tell if my process has finished or not as it keeps on getting errors

    • I got the "you are registered" page after my card has been charged when i reclick the link

      • Ok ,i havebt got that far yet

        Maybe one day before christmas

  • managed to eventually get it registered… is there meant to be a code we input to verify the $0.01 has been debited ? just says complete and does not ask to verify… lol

  • Wonder if once you've reached the $300 limit on 1 linked qantas account you can link a second qantas account?

  • I got this email.
After logging into paypal, it charged my card, then took me straight back to the landing page.
i clicked, and it charged my card again, but i never got the confirmation page. :/

EDIT: no way to verify the charge either. wtf is going on

    • PP are a bunch of crooks.

I could be wrong…however, it looks fake. The website it takes you to is not PayPal, it's https://www.paypal-proserv.com/

While the email looks to be from the qantas.com domain, I can't find this promotiom on either PayPal or Qantas's site, and so has all the signs of a scam!

My advice? If you clicked on the link and either created a new PayPal or authorised or logged into an existing account…just to be safe…CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD NOW!

    • yeah… something is weird. after activating offer, my face ID login/password wouldnt work… just updated password

      • ok unsure whether it was my face ID or paypal issue. changed pw anyway…

    • +1

in the email, they have your name, points balance, and QFF number…so if it's a scam, they already have all QFF data…

    • It's not a scam that's how Qantas operates you have to click the link to register.

  • This appears to be some what legit that it has verified certificate and the information on whois. But if you do have concern, you should also try reach out to "PayPal" and see what you get.

Changing the password when you have suspicion is the good way if you already clicked and provided the information although the best would be not access to the link and check with PayPal - if you really wants to find out the details.

  • This shoulds be a legit offer since it appears on Qantas landing page here
