  • Can this charge Samsung note 10 plus with 50W?

    • It will charge it at 45W, which is what the Samsung Note 10+ takes.

      • I read somewhere the note 10 needs some extra additional spec. "PPS" or something?

        • yea, that is what i m worrying about.

          • @rimalala: If it does not have PPS,the Note 10 plus will charge only at 15W.

  • Hi, is there a difference between this usbc to lightning cable and the one I got off eBay for $2?

    • +2

Actually MFI certified, not just written on the listing?

      • Yeah that’s why I was considering buying this because mine wouldn’t be mfi.

That said u use it to hotspot my phone/MacBook daily and I can’t fault it

  • How does the lifetime warranty work? Is there free shipping to return and get a replacement?

    • +1

You activate the Lifetime Warranty by visiting the RavPower website with your Amazon order number.

Then if you ever have an issue just contact RavPower support and they will help you out. You won't have to worry about any shipping costs.

      • I dont see the lifetime part?

  • +1

    Thanks mate!

  • +1

Do these have any hum or squeal or other noise while operating?

  • bah! just bought the usbc to lightning cable a week ago :(

    • woops, yay was able to cancel my order from yesterday.

  • RAVPower RP-PC059 vs Anker A2053 ?
    RAVPower got lifetime warranty.
but Anker got all PD specs listed (available voltage/current).

    • 45 W from RP-PC059 vs only 29 W from Anker A2503.

      • +1

Anker listed 15V/3A and 20V/2.25A - both combinations give 45W.
Anker is saying MacBook will draw 30W max - I guess it will use 9V/3A mode only.

RAVPower is not listing any specs other than '45W, trust me' :)

        • The Amazon listing when I click through the link shows the specs for the RAVPower as:

          USB-C Output 5V / 2.4A, 5V / 3A, 9V / 3A, 15V / 3A, 20V / 2.25A

  • Does this support Nintendo Switch?

  • Ill give you s try on some usb c cables.

  • How long will this deal be available? I'm interested in getting the micro usb cable pack however I am currently overseas and won't be back for another 10 days. Parcel locker won't hold packages for that long ☹️

    • If you don't collect your parcel from a parcel locker within the 48 hours (or whatever timeframe) the item gets directed to the nearest PO from where you can collect it or arrange it to be sent on.
Source: happened to me one time.

      • +2

There's a limit to how long will it be held at the post office as well. After which it will be sent back as undeliverable.

        • This exactly.

        • I believe few years ago that local PO hold interval was two weeks.

          • @SickDmith: Officially its 10 (business?) days but my local GPO holds them for a month before they return them.

    • Can you get it sent to work? friends? family?

It's not often you actually want delivery of something to take longer than 10 days :P

    • Tried to order and code has expired

  • Does it come with Australian power cable connector?
Also, they are both 60W so I was wondering if it's worth getting the more expensive one or not…..

    • i saw the picture has USA plug, I think you have to get a cheap adapter to use it. it's 100V-240V so you don't need a transformer.

      • Thanks. I was afraid of that. No buy from me because of it. I hate using power adapters.

        • +1

I posted the question on Amazon site and apparently it does come with Australian power connector.

          • @AceIsMe: It should come with Australian power connector.

The 4 port one i bought 6 months back had it.

        • They come with an aussie plug.

    • +1

The answers and Aus comments says it uses the figure-of-8 2-pin lead and Aus plug. Even if it doesn't, getting an Aus plug figure-of-8 lead is easy from Officeworks/Jaycar/etc

      • +1

        It's called a C7 lead.

Had to google around, trying different keywords when my Xiaomi one died last week.

  • would this charge a dell xps 13?

  • Anyone can shed some light on this vs units from Anker and Aukey?

  • +1

    Thanks Rep - ordered 40!

    • Why the neg?

Just trying to support the Rep on a great deal and bring a little Christmas cheer to the office…

  • Hi Rep, received the RAVPower RP-CB008 USB C to USB A. box is not sealed. it looks like a returned item, plastic that cover the cables were not packed properly.

    • +1

No answer from REP here, neither when I contacted through Amazon. useless service. wont buy from them anymore
