  • I love mobilecitys Google nest hub price slash of $1.

    https://www.mobileciti.com.au/google-nest-hub-max-chalk

    That's a huge 0.3% off

  • Shame they stuffed up the one thing that made the Play awesome: the battery. I'm still using the original Z Play here; I'm thinking, if possible and worthwhile, to get a battery replacement as it's starting to give out now after nearly two years.

    • I accidentally stepped on my z play 1.
I had to get the z2 play.
Yes battery sucks compared to the first.

    • My Z2 Force battery shat itself after 10 months. Shutdown 0% at 77%, 54%

I have the projector and speaker mod… not sure whether to get another Z or just change brand

      • Maybe just replace the battery if phone is still in good nic?

        • $330 with battery mod https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-z-play-gen-3

ANy issues running an unlocked US model in AU?

@Kaz0551: Nice. Has most bands but No B28 if that's important to you.

Great deal, but how much for freight?

Still be cheaper to get new battery, but understand wanting new upgrade lol.

            • @ozhunter68: has 28… but I have noticed there are 2 B28s listed on some devices

              LTE:††† B1 (2100) B2 (1900) B3 (1800) B4 (1700/2100) B5 (850) B7 (2600) B8 (900) B12 (lower700 abc) B13 (upper700) B14 (700 PS) B17 (lower700 bc) B18 (Japan low850) B19 (Japan hi850) B20 (800 DD) B25 (1900+) B26 (850+) B28 (700 APT) B29 (lower700 de) B30 (2300) B38 (TD2600) B40 (TD2300) B41 (TD2500) B41 HPUE (TD2500) B66 (AWS3+4) B71 (600 US)

@Kaz0551: Was in a hurry. If it has the correct B28/700mAh for Australian use, then great, nice phone and great deal. Seems to have lot's of bands, Japan and of course USA.

          • @Kaz0551: Just had another look at that US website and looks like only works with US address.

Today can get Moto Z2 Play for $292 from Mobileciti with 11% off.

            • @ozhunter68: US-AU Forwarding… still a much better deal than local Z2

              • @Kaz0551: Sure, much better deal if you go down that path.

I have never got into US-AU Forwarding, seemed too much hassle, but maybe…..

What is the cost to set this up per year, or….??? Hard to do?

  • Do e series phones come with 1 year warranty and all other series come with 2 years warranty?

    • +1

Same warranty and price from Officeworks… be that as it may, in 2019 you probably shouldnt be buying a phone with micro usb, 720p, only 2gb ram 16gb nvram and a mere SD400 cpu… a little bit more gets you double of everything…

      • Sure, get your point and agree, especially after today picking up my $149 Samsung A20 which is great value and feels really smooth and modern.

But some people do have smaller budgets and might need an unlocked new phone below $200 locally, so this Moto would work nicely for them.
