In celebration of Singles' Day I asked around and managed to get a good price on this which has never been this low before and previously been quite popular.

Mounting your Google Home Mini in this dock allows you to use it anywhere as it has an inbuilt 7800mAh battery that provides up to 10-12 hours of play time. It also has a lanyard attached so you can hang it anywhere. In the previous deals people said you could use it as a wireless speaker, outside entertainment, move it between rooms, for quiz night or even as a BBQ timer.

It also looks far better than a power bank without a dock hanging off the Google Mini.

    The trick is to message sellers on Amazon when you're after something as they'll usually say yes.

    I asked a heap of others but got no response besides these guys this time.

      That’s good to know. I hadn’t it in my list since July when it was $29, but it never seemed to drop. If I have something that’s been a certain price before I guess I’ll try asking next time. Thanks for the tip.

      How do you mean? So you message them on Amazon saying you want to buy X, can you give me a discount?

            @Zazer: Mostly Chinese electronics as they're sold by third party sellers with FBA. Grocery items are typically sold direct from Amazon.

      Don't they have different power plugs? From memory the original Home Mini used a standard Micro USB whereas the Nest Mini uses a barrel type.

      (I'm basing this on my own experience when I got the Telstra deal for the 2x Nest Minis and when I went to replace one of my Home Minis, I wasn't able to use the same power cord)

        The power adapter would be irrelevant in this case. Though someone else has answered the actual question.

          @Clear: But wouldn’t a different cable connector mean it wouldn’t plug in? So conclusion is it doesn’t work with new nest mini.

    Check the item description in Amazon. It clearly states this item is not compatible with Google Nest Mini 2019.

    I also checked the seller page in Amazon, it looks like a version for the Nest Mini is not out yet.

  The good thing with this is that you can turn off the Home Mini anytime you don't want to be listened to.
