    I'm sure it's going to come up, so Forbidden Island and Pandemic haven't gone up in price, but aren't showing the cheapest option by default.

      Ahhh mine is defaulting to showing the cheapest from Amazon US but you're right, the amazon.com.au price is a bit higher.

    Be careful with Secret Hitler, a lot of the listings are for third-party sellers coming in way under RRP - highly likely to be counterfeit copies.

      Thanks for the heads up! I bought it a few days ago and just checked the seller I bought from and there was a review saying it was a counterfeit copy. Managed to cancel it before it was shipped.

    Werewords is a great party game with quick rounds and is great value for how much I've played it with my friends. It's like One Night Ultimate Werewolf mixed with 20 Questions and everyone can contribute.

      Agree on this, I think we paid about $12 for it somehow, and got a good solid five hours playing out of it. Even if we never play again, I think it will have been worthwhile.

        Definitely has replay value, we just have so many games that we rarely play anything more than a couple of times, with the exception of one game (which I made so it's amazing)

      Is the app 100% necessary to play? I'm not a big fan of board games that MUST have apps as it basically gives them an expiration date.

        Yes it is - it does the word selection and the secret parts for you. It makes the game heaps easier to run.

        Are you saying the expiration date is linked to the support for the app? I would agree with you on a new game that you are taking a risk on, but this is a pretty popular game that isn't going anywhere.

          It's mostly just a "I get it out the cupboard 5 years from now and the app is no longer supported" kind of thing. It's not so much the money I just feel like it's a bit of a waste if that happens.

      I've got that as well, I messaged support and they said they are different websites and not linked.

      Maybe try their support and see if you get a different answer.

      Unknown third-party sellers listing a heavily-counterfeited game for $20-30 below retail price… I doubt it.

      $48.47 from Gameology looks like the cheapest legit listing on the Amazon page.

      I ordered before this posted, and have the game now. It seems legit to me. Some spelling mistakes in the instruction booklet, but the playing cards are good quality cardboard, the president/chancellor titles are made of sturdy wood, and the boards have foil embellishments. Is there a way to tell if the game is fake?

        Ohhhhh, hahahaha. Well, I wish I knew of this before I bought both Pandemic and Splendor from eBay the other day! I received them both in the mail today and have just opened Pandemic up. It seems like mine is a fake. For example, the cubes are coloured slightly differently, are very sharp with some edges that haven't been "cut" properly, and have bubbles inside.

        Haven't opened up Splendor yet but am not optimistic now.

        Oh, well I'll be more mindful next time!
