  thanks for the link, but I don't think the promo code is actually doing anything to the prices?
  
  it says "promo code applied", but there is no difference in price with or without the code.
  
  this is with me not using those fares that are excluded above ^. i tried it on things like Economy Flex, which said approx $800AUD one way from Syd to Ho Chi Minh without the code, then I tried with the code and it still says ~$800 AUD

    Yeah i tried the Link on Friday 22/11. it worked great and took 50% off the economy classic fare. I didnt buy it on Friday :( cause i needed to confirm annual leave with the boss, but then tried it again on Monday 25/11 and it didnt work anymore !!

      i just found out why - if you logon to the main home page of VietnamAirlines, there is an announcement message there dated 25 Nov saying the promo code functionality is currently not working and they are trying to resolve it

  :( yeah i'm really upset, the "promo code not working" announcement is no longer on the homepage, but now it says the promo code is invalid.
  
  it used to say the promo code was valid but the price never changed.

I received email from VA, that promo code issue is resolved and should be working now..

        @k2k8k5: Nah no luck, i called the ticket office in Both Aus and Vietnam. They wouldnt budge. Been emailing the cust service department as well and no luck there. The amount of hassle i have given vietnam airlines i should get a discount lol.
