  I have one of these (the orange one). It does the job well except when it's all zipped up there's an inside flappy thing which kind of just floats around.

        Most major airlines do not permit animals to be carried as "hand luggage" and thank heavens for that small mercy. The ones which do usually require that the carrier and animal fit underneath the seat. The small bag above may just fit.
