long time member and this is My first post on Ozbargain, I was watching the price for this card for a while and never saw it near this price, the cheapest was $1,679.20 by computer Alliance eBay store but now out of stock, Delivery estimated between Wed. 27 Nov. and Thu. 28 Nov to Sydney.
I think it comes a lot down to noise - the dual fan models will be hotter and louder than the more expensive versions. Basically they are only 'worth it' if that matters to you as far as I am aware.
This is a better binned chip with higher boost & better cooling for additional over clock.
This or the 2080 Super Model. The price difference is ~ $399 not sure if there is a significant increase between the two ?

I was on the fence like you between this and the super. then i saw the ti at this price and pulled the trigger and bout the ti. $400 is worth the 30% increase in my opinion
i just returned my 2080 ti and bought a 2080 super, after a little consideration, not worth the extra $$$, it is never be 30% faster than 2080 super, in 4k both aren't playable, in 2k super only a little slower, but never be 30% slower,
also i got a 1tb ssd from that super - gigabyte 2080 super gaming oc, so i think that'd be the best deal.

If you do have a 4k monitor and more than 60hz, go for the 2080 ti, i only have a 21:9 120hz, aw3418dw that it is. what eventually made me switch to the 2080 super is the 1tb ssd, which added $100 and more value to this, otherwise i'd stay with the 2080 ti. cannot even redeem the modern warfare game now for the 2080 tis.
Your decision to return the ti is right as you are spending extra money on things that you will never use.
Seems like a decent price, but still relatively expensive. I'll stick with my 1080 ti for a while longer. I mainly use a 1440p 165Hz monitor anyway

I paid for the item on Sunday night and payment was cleared in seconds, on Monday seller posted item shipped but no tracking details!
I contacted them on Wednesday (delivery expected 27-29 Wednesday or Thursday) to ask about tracking details, I had a respond your tracking details will be available once its picked up!!! What!!! I thought my item was shipped already on Monday??
I responded that my item already shipped and asked if he checked my order status? and no respond from them since yesterday BUT after my last message to them tracking details showed late yesterday and with tracking Number provided 26th Nov and stuck like that with no information about courier !
It seems this seller didn’t have the stock at the time of the listing and this is very fishy and not professional by them

Same thing here, they actually use Sendle which is by far the WORST middleman/courier platform. They take forever to send and you cannot even call them directly as they have no phone number.
I ordered on Monday (24th) and only now do I have tracking for an item that is still at the shop apparently. Gonna refund if I don't receive the item by Friday night as there should be better deals come next Monday.
I am surprised that no one has actually commented on FTC's terrible delivery times (If they deliver at all), considering how popular their deals are on Ozbargain.
I will cancel too if i didnt receive by tomorrow, what a terrible experience they dont even reply to messages

its a beast, it run really quiet in my meshify C case, the card is long and fit a bit tide in my case I had to remove one of my 140mm fan for the card to fit, my case can only have 2 120mm fan with this card..
im running 110-120fps at max setting in modern warfare but feel it can run with more fps need to learn more about it.
its a keeper for years to come

Cheaper same chip on staticice, or is this some how better? At that range I think as long as it's the same chip, brand is almost irrelevant as performance difference is
minuscule (statistical error) and all are using same drivers.
