    Thanks just got one

  • Would this work well for a Weber Q?

      • Don't bother with that. Go to bunnings and just buy the plastic paint scrapper, $1.05 for the wider medium width one, or <$1 for the narrower one. Bought it yesterday works a treat on my family q

        • I got one fromaster close down for like $3

        • Just flip this over which most people already own and will already have out when BBQing: https://www.barbequesgalore.com.au/wiltshire-bar-b-mate-bbq-… ;-) ColesWorths used to both sell this - for years - but it doesn't seem to be on their website!?

The items in this post look more like silicon bowl scrapers, only they're made of hard plastic. I can't imagine they'd do much 'scraping' on a BBQ plate.

It's for the ridges in a Lodge 'grill' type pan, as seen in the last photo in that link, or like thise: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00WTSCXBA.

I think I'd just scrape the top/flat off with a metal scraper while cooking, then soak and clean as normal later.

    • Would this work well for a Weber Q?

      No.
Got them previous deal - teeth interval (spacing) doesn't match Weber Q grill.

Thanks, will try these with the sportsman grill

The spacing isn't right for the sportsman grill.

Just season the grill well and use a hard bristle brush.

picked up a set of these up last time seeing as they're so cheap, wasn't expecting them to be that useful really but they're extremely good for cleaning cast iron. They don't wreck the seasoning the way a scourer does.

    Thanks.

Thank you. Don’t know what is. Bought it

  • Bought them hopefully fits my aldi grill pan

  • Can someone explain the square edges? Is it just aesthetics and you use the curved edge to actually scrape?

    • The teeth? For use on the griddle, fits between the ridges. Use flat part for a skillet.

  • Thanks OP, now $5.04.
