      I have "order confirmed" from this morning. I don't need any more updates. I'm waiting for delivery now, not checking my emails.

      From eBay or the seller direct? Everyone who purchased and paid through eBay would have got an order confirmed email. Unfortunately unless it’s marked as sent it’s not guaranteed.

      Same thing happened with Good Guys TV - confirmation from eBay and good guys and then cancelled. Definitely wait until you have shipping confirmation and tracking before buying any accessories for it. Took good guys about 3-4 days to cancel and a further 5 days to get refund back.

    • nope, i have sent an email last Monday and also today and no response from them. I'm about to send my 3rd email just to see if they will reply.

    • Nothing from me and I ordered 2 days ago. For those that purchased, how long are you planning on waiting before asking for a refund? Very high chance they will not honor these sales. Rest assure I will neg them.

      • Also ordered an ipad 7th gen 128GB Monday morning which was $601.00 after discount. After a couple of hours I have received a notification that the price has been reduced to $462.00 after discount so I have ordered another one and emailed them right away if they could cancel my first order but still no reply.

        My order(s) is due tomorrow and if I don't receive anything or even a reply from them I will asked for a refund right away (will also neg them). I have no problem if it's a pricing error as long as they refund the money right away.

        Well I should have waited a bit and bought the ipad somewhere else. haha

    The reason the system allows 7 days is because this problem might be resolved by the seller.

      Then, you can leave the feedback, but we need to wait for giving neg feedback till Sunday.

    • I don’t think. Last time that a seller cancelled I couldn’t. Once they refund you cannot leave negative unfortunately

  • Refunded today, same reason as everyone else. Obviously not a valid reason being that they are still selling the item with a jacked up price. Can't leave neg feedback, and can't even complain to eBay regarding this dodgey seller, it would seem. If anyone knows how to lodge a written complaint, please let me know.

      We used their chat feature to talk to someone and make a complaint and they let us know their account will go under investigation. If enough people let them know maybe something might actually happen?

      • Yeah, I couldn't find anything other than online chat or phone. I'll do the chat thing when I get a spare moment. What kind of company doesn't accept e-mails or form feedback? My guess would be one that doesn't like people to have anything on record.

            @Chill195: Ok, I just reported it via the chat. They said they will send the report to the relevant dept, so I suppose we'll see. The girl also suggested using the "report item" link on the item page. I did that and couldn't find a completely relevant drop-down selection, so I just went with "fraudulent activity". Knowing ebay, they won't do a thing, but like you say, maybe if enough people complain.

    Yep.. my iPad Pro 11 order was refunded via PayPal.

    I would love to say a dodgy seller but perhaps it was an innocent price error, however it's poor form to ignore messages and take two days to refund.

    Checking with eBay claims, seller used an e-check method of refund that takes longer 5-7 days..

      Yes, mines Pending. So this will take 5-7 days? Talk about adding insult to injury.
      They refuse to communicate, provide a crap reason, I waited 2 days to know if this will go ahead or I should look for another iPad deal. And it seems I can't provide feedback on the 'service'.

      • I had a worse response after they sent me a faulty device - they wanted two weeks to check it once it got to their warehouse then they claimed I sent back a device with a different serial number to the one they sent - yeah right - lucky ebay stepped in and resolved - refunded the full price and shipping. Went to the dark side and bought the item from Harvey norman and got it same day

    The original poster (who didn't purchase it) but told someone else to before I posted this "bargain" - her $$$ was refunded as well. So first in, best dressed never applied here.

    • No. Haven't gotten a refund yet but saying cancellation is pending. So the seller is playing with us holding our funds….

      • I sent them a message earlier and got this reply:

        ‘We have called Paypal and have been advised that the payments can take 3-5 business days to clear.
        Your funds have been released on our end and should clear shortly for you.’

        • Clearly that isn't the case. If, and when someone refunds me I usually get it instantly. Same thing happens when I refund someone.

  • I received the below a few days ago. The ipad was always listed at higher price after they jacked up the price ( and still listed). Claiming no stock is just a big lie.

  • FYI for those leaving negative feedback, if you leave any kind of inflammatory comment the seller can easily have it removed by eBay.
    Stick with factual type comments only - e.g. "Seller cancelled item & relisted at higher $ - very disappointing"
