  • the lowest ever?

  • +2

That's well under our buy price for education !

  • -7

    Cheap

  • +2

    Is it a creditable seller?

    • I finally understand what you meant! Credible

  • -1

Was looking at one of these last week was about $100 more, went with a 128GB Samsung tab A 10.1 for $375. No regrets as it's a really well made tablet.

    • -5

You will regret that. Android tablets are dead, Google doesn't add features or do anything with the tablet OS anymore

      • -1

Had it for a year. Best purchased I have made in years. Can't say the same about cheap China android phones

      • +1

Is this a fact or personal opinion ?

      • +1

Apple fanboys always say stuff like that to make themselves feel better for spending more to get less functionality.

        • +11

It is universally accepted that iOS is king in the tablet space, dude. Majority of Android users agree.

          • +1

@ThithLord: I run both android and apple ecosystems in my house, will buy what ever is best for the purpose, and it's not often an apple product.

            • -2

              @noise36:

Hnmm, I need a laggy POS that won't get OS/Security updates a year and half later. Which to choose?

I can see what use case you got there.

        • +3

yeah nah…. IOS in the tablet space rules.

          • +3

@PaKoRa: 32GB storage and no expandable memory doesn't scream king of anything.

You don't need IOS to watch Netflix or YouTube

  • +1

I think the whole store has pricing errors. They have iPad Pro's for $800ish after the 20% discount.

    • I agree, if you look at the other listing without the 20% off in title it’s $575 which comes to about what this one is listed for before the 20% off.

      • +1

Going to be a massive bash on their rating if they cancel all these orders though. Although checking their feedback - they aren't afraid to cancel orders without reason.

        • +2

Assuming they cancel and issue refunds, so long as they refund promptly, I'll chalk it up to an honest mistake. If they don't refund today however, I'll definitely be leaving negative feedback.

          • @dcash: nothing honest with the price rise to way more than retail

            • @aussman: Yeah, but who's going to buy it from them at that price? What is their advantage to the whole debacle?

  • Thanks Op. Got one!

  • +3

Seems too good to be true - cancel and refund?

  • only $100 more for the 128GB version. Great deal. Have bought from these guys before and they have been good.

  • Doesn't apple enforce some rule about selling this low?

    • +1

It's most likely a syncing error. It's not just apple products, it appears the whole store is messed. They're promoting the 20% OFF with code, but they've uploaded most of the store 20% OFF without the code.

      • +9

They pressed the wrong button, they meant to press the eBay sale price jacking button!

    • On ebay? Come on

      • Maybe only punish authorized resellers

  • 75 sold under an hour. this will end up bad

  • How odd, I have an Air 2, and that's still thinner than these new ones

  • please be legit :(

  • thanks op ordered 1

  • Bought 1, currently sold out

  • I purchased the iPad Pro 11” and Apple Pencil 2nd Gen yesterday, and I have their store saved as a search, I can see they’ve added new things this morning (printer cartridges)… so they would have seen the orders. A lot of their stuff was being bought up yesterday. So I reckon it’s legit

    • There is a jacked up listing for 20% more so I don’t think it’s legit, that said, still buying haha.

      • +1

Are you guys getting this here

        • I got the 256gb one,Wifi only. Only 17% higher price more for 4x the storage

      • agree, they forgot to jack up some items.

apple tv, apple pen, mackbook and other items are above RRP

  • Is $413 a good price for the Mini 5?

    • Really good

    • +1

Better off going with the air 3 for $524, but yeah can’t go wrong with $413,RRP $600

  • +1

Crazy price but not sure if the seller gonna honour it.

  • +1

Got an Air 2019, great price! Would we be able to claim TRS on this?

  • It's updated… price bumped up to $593.56

20% off takes it down to $474.85 now

    • Is it still a good price or "so-so"?

      • +3

Price jacking At it’s best acccc

  • Got the Mini 5 for just over $400, thanks op

  • Back to stock at $100+ more.

    $474 after coupon

  • Got a 64gb ipad air 3rd gen 10.5 for 524 and another 10%TRS. thanks OP and exc3113nce for spotting

  • +1

Just noticed the prices have gone back up to normal. I wonder if they will honour.

  • +1

    price jacked up!!!

  • Now replaced with a jacked up listing

  • +1

They jacked up the price finally.

  • This gonna get messy…

  • So they do have stock but want more profit. 😔

  • +3

You watch MediaForm will change to PoorForm

  • Bad form mediaformcomputersuppliesptyltd!

  • +4

OP probs shot himself in the foot, they might have honoured a few purchases for a loss, but not the OzB army.

    • Thought the same thing. It wasn't even a few products it was pretty much the entire store. Apple products cost value is usually relatively close to their sale price isn't it? This would be a massive loss, and possibly below what they're allowed to sell for as well.

  • -5

I have reported it to eBay. they will probably get banned for a few sales.

  • and they increased the prices on other ipads. i had a look at ipad pro 12.9 256gb 15 minutes ago it was $1400ish with discount now up to $1,940 with discount

  • I hope they honour the prices for those that bought. I decided against it, I don't need a new iPad Pro 11' even at such insane prices. Keep us in the loop those that bought!

  • I've been waiting for an iPad for months, so sad I missed it =(. Good luck to all those that bought it, hopefully the order won't get cancelled!

  • Had a bad experience with this seller in the past luckily eBay covered me

    • what happened?

      • got a faulty surface book - they accepted return sent it back they took ages to refund with no response ebay stepped in and refunded me then they claimed I sent the same model but a different serial numbered unit - was totally untrue and had photos of me packing thing up

        • claimed I sent the same model but a different serial numbered unit -

Thanks I will try this some time…

  • +1

Bought the pro 11 2018 and price was jacked before i'm able to post the deal. Hopefully it will be honoured. Will have a final price of around $640 (paid with discounted gift cards and TRS next month). Insane!

    • Not sure if TRS will count as the original item price is over the $900. You'll have to argue depreciation. Actually if its $1000ish then it should fit under the $900 (excluding GST pricing).

      • Double edit. Is the $900 TRS claim return including the GST portion of the original purchase?

        • Good question, I'm not too sure about that too. I will be travelling with my partner so the threshold would be $900 x 2 and it should be fine? Nonetheless, I'm satisfied with the price even without TRS :)

          • @Ifoundabetterprice: I've emailed them to find out as I'm interested myself. I was about to buy the exact item you got, with similar discounts but I talked myself out of it (I just recently bought an ipad 6 second hand and its brilliant). Although I muse say the aesthetics and screen etc… of the iPad pro was hard to say no too. I hope they honour it for you.

            • @exc3113nce: Cool..Actually im in the same situation, recently bought the first gen pro 12.9 and it satisfy most of my needs. Only reason i bought the new one is for the 120hz screen and new design (i know, first world problems) :)

  • +1

I was going to pull the trigger on 2x iPad Air for $525 each.
Hesitated and now the price has been fixed. Probably wouldn't have honoured it anyway..

    • 0% chance if you don't try ;)

Probably wouldn't have honoured it anyway..

  • They sold 174 of the 32gb silver. plus asome pro version.

wonder how long they will take to either post or refund.

  • Hmm, hopefully they don’t cancel. I managed to order the 11” pro 256g at just under $1K … then proceeded to buy the Apple Pencil 2 and 11” case and paper like screen protector… in hindsight…I probably should have waited til I recieved the ipad, otherwise there’s gonna be about $300 of accessories sitting around for a long time….

    • +1

then proceeded to buy the Apple Pencil 2 and 11” case and paper like screen protector

      oh dear

    • Which paper like protector? Link?
      You like drawing?

      • +1

I went to the official paper like site to buy directly. Paperlike.com

I have another iPad, which I bought a cheap ‘paperlike imitation’ version, which essentially is just a matte screen protector. Whilst it does give the writing experience a level of scratch like resistance, similar to writing on paper, but it Is not very consistent, and so I thought since I Got a great deal on the iPad, I may as well go all out and get the proper paperlike screen protector, to see if it IS better. They also have a 100% money back guarantee .. so no harm in giving it a go.

According to online reviews (mostly sponsored of course) the proper paperlike experience is supposed to be a lot better than the cheaper alternatives…

    • +1

they cancelled my order and issued a refund, now when I check the price, its already been jacked up

      • Really? Did they provide a reason?

        • they said "The seller cancelled this order because: I'm out of stock or the item is damaged. "

          • +4

@Nardoo: "or forgot to jack up the price"

          • @Nardoo: What the? Clearly the owner has stock.

  • -1

Which year model is Gen 7? Would be clearer

      • +1
        • 2017 - This best way to distinguish them I reckon.
        • i feel like stating "Gen 7" is a pretty intuitive way to distinguish between the different models. If they're gonna name it the 2017 iPad, no one is gonna buy it in 2018 or 2019 because they'll think its outdated.

          • -1

@18: Then again 7th Gen is vague especially if new to the market. How would someone know how many gens have gone through or which stage it's at, having to do that bit of Googling.

If someone knew or if I specifically thought the 2017 model was sufficient instead of paying more for a year's difference, just searching iPad 2017 should be very accurate. And if wanting the latest model just search iPad 2019 etc. - if looking for what's to come iPad 2020
Guess I like things more straightforward and precise.

        • +2

7th gen is actually 2019. It was released about 2 months ago.

          • @Soldier: My bad, with all the different variations have messed up.

If anybody else is interested here is the list of iPads / Air / Mini / Pro's and different inches, with release Dates -
