    Depending on what the data is worth to you and if you're comfortable with changing a screen, it might be worth getting a cheapo screen off eBay just so you can give permission

      3 months of kid photos. I told my partner multiple times to back up after her touch function started going flaky.. grr :/

        It should be easy, but take your care and time with it, iFixit videos and guides can also be extremely helpful
