Thanks OP, been looking at this stick blender for a while and nearly bit the bullet at $99 a few weeks back from Amazon. Don't forget CashRewards

We got an older model a year or so ago when Amazon had them dirt cheap - great little whipper.

The vacuum is not as good as you'd hope but for $45 it's a no-brainer!

    • +1

Is it better than a Dyson?!

Been watching the braun for a while. Thanks OP you're amazing!

  • +3

Thanks OP. Bought a second one of the trimmers. It is really good and does vacuum up a lot of the hair!

The Multigroom 5000 is at a good price too. $44.95

    • Cheers, bit the bullet on this one

lol @ the first review on this. Poor guy:

I SAY AGAIN, DO NOT USE ON YOUR GROIN AND BACKSIDE. If used on end, i.e. trimming by dragging it along skin with the points facing toward your skin, it will serrate one’s skin like death by a thousand cuts with a samurai sword. Of course this is virtually the only position it can go in when attempting self trim to the nether regions. Now my perineum and bunghole area are gently healing.

Should your intended use include only trimming with the flat, cold, platen steel gliding smoothly along skin, never fear this is a good choice for trimming hair to whatever desired length you choose with the assorted guide and tools fashioned for trimmer’s delight. Trim away, trim away…

      • My only question is why he kept going after he cut his butt open the first time.

      • +1

Lets hope he didn’t return it for a refund.

      Thank you RogueWolf!

I bought the Philips Multigroom Series 5000.

FYI. For anyone who wants to shave their nether regions…

If I have the Suck-Cut do I need the Vacuum Beard Trimmer?

    • …well it certainly does suck!

  • +1

I shave my head every week or two, would this be suitable? Keen for something that sucks up some of the cut hair!

    • Which one do you use currently? And what length do you go for? Not bald?

  • +1

Need one to trim my hair. Which has the closest shave similar to what the barbers use.

  • Paid over $80 for the bear trimmer and it's great. A bargain at $45

Captures 90% of the hair, which makes the remaining an easy wipe down if needed

    • +3

How often do you need to trim a bear? Do you tranquillise it first or is it tame?

  • +2

Have one, it's pretty terrible, even the bonus foil shaver. Avoid. Only use it for my moustache occasionally.

  • +3

I don't recommend the 7000 series for either shaving your head or trimming your beard. The vacuum is largely pointless and the motor is weak.

    • Agree 110%.
Go for the model below without vacuum feature.

  • Thanks OP got one at the good guys for the same price .

  • +1

Price jumped as i was about the buy the shaver, back to $119

    • +3

amazon likely oos on this one, price is from a third party seller on amazon.

  • +1

Damn it!! Looks like both DJ and Amazon are showing $119. I've been in the market for this shaver for a while. Saw it on my mobile phone for $45, then moved to my computer to buy and the price had gone up.

  • +1

It is showing 119 for me….

  • The vacuum trimmer works great if your hairs are short. I shave 3 times a week with it. Head and face. Sucks up most of the hair. Very happy

  • Price returned to $119..

  • Price on amazon returned to $99 and stock level says "Temporarily Out of Stock".

  • hi, guys it back to 45 dollars on david jones, i just bought one from chatswood with welcome 10$ discount, so i only paid 35, generally speaking i dont think this is better than my old 5000 series, i dont think this one is water proof, quality is cheap compare my 5 yrs old 5250 but for 35 its ok !

and it only have 3 stocks left on the shelf
if you guys need receipt, just pm to me
