  • I've always wondered what is exactly meant by "occasional"

    • +1

Just don't use it too much.

        lol otherwise they will break

    • It's that low you can only occasionally get out of it.

      • Maybe it's for special occasions like that swing I bought…?

    • It’s basically a secondary chair that is there more for the versatility when an extra chair is needed (in the room, or even for taking into another room), rather than a primary seating option that will be used regularly. It’s usually smaller (easier to take to another room) and less comfortable (because it’s not going to be used as frequently, so doesn’t need to be). And often in a striking colour or design, utilising it as more of an aesthetic piece - hence also referred to as an “accent chair”.

And yes, often cheaper and less sturdy! Hence only to be used occasionally! :)

AKA, the crap chair you don’t want to sit on! :P

As opposed to a full on proper armchair, which is more likely to be used often and may even be used in preference of the main couch (eg. dad’s favourite armchair), and is less likely to be taken to another room for additional seating.

  • No Free shopping to Canberra, which in-between Sydney n Melbourne?😉
